Systems Administrator
The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Linux systems administrator to be part of an Agile team supporting implementation, troubleshooting, and maintenance of mission critical systems. You’ll perform systems administration responsibilities, including configuration, deployment, and management of RedHat-based operating systems and STN/STE hardening. You’ll review and provide updates to System Security Plans, and manage IT system infrastructure virtualization, physical servers, and switches.

You Have:
- Experience with Linux
- Experience with Kickstart or PXE to stand up a server from scratch, including physical or VM
- Experience with system and network administration
- Experience with scripting languages
- Experience in virtualization by administering hypervisors, and deploying and managing VMs
- Experience with STE deploying agents to satisfy STE requirements, and monitoring IAVAs in Biscotti and resolving issues
- Experience in security scanning or patching in Nessus
- TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph
- Bachelor’s degree in Technology and 10+ years of experience with systems administration, or 15+ years of experience with systems administration in lieu of a degree
Clearance:

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
