We are a global IT partner and ally, helping clients optimize, evolve, and innovate their infrastructure and applications to meet the future. We are looking for a General Manager, of North America, to lead our Client Engagement organization and drive growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction in this region. A successful candidate will be passionate about engaging with clients and understanding their business and our business thoroughly. They will have a blend of experience in managed services, cloud services, outsourcing, and large enterprise customers, as well as a proven track record of transforming and scaling revenue organizations, developing and executing revenue strategies, and building strong customer relationships. This is a critical executive role and imperative to Ensono’s long-term success.
- Define and execute the short and long-term revenue strategy for North America, aligned with the company’s vision, mission, and values
- Oversee and manage the Client Engagement organization, including direct (new logo, enterprise, SLED, etc.), inside, solution architecture, and sales operations
- Grow and develop a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive team of revenue leaders and professionals
- Establish and maintain a culture of accountability, excellence, collaboration, and customer focus across the revenue organization
- Drive revenue growth, profitability, and customer retention in North America, leveraging the company’s deep portfolio of managed services, cloud solutions, proprietary products, and advisory and consulting services
- Build and nurture long-term, strategic partnerships with large enterprise customers, ensuring that Ensono is seen as a trusted advisor and a value-added partner
- Monitor, analyze and anticipate market trends, customer needs, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities in North America
- Ensure operational soundness and efficiency of the Client Engagement organization, including accurate and timely reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline management
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including the executive team, the board, the private equity owners, the operations and delivery team, the product and consulting team, the analysts, and the media
- Represent Ensono as a thought leader and a spokesperson in the industry and the community
- Minimum 15 years of experience in significant management roles in the managed services, cloud services, and outsourcing industry, overseeing a minimum org size of 150 and a minimum revenue of $1.5BN
- Minimum 5 years of experience in P&L management, with a strong understanding of the business levers, dependencies, drivers, and costs of the managed services, cloud services, and outsourcing industry
- Demonstrated history of growing and transforming a revenue organization from a minimum of $750M to $3B, or similar/larger increases, with a focus on multi-year contracts and monthly recurring services revenue
- The candidate possesses a high emotional intelligence and a true knack for partnering with various interdisciplinary teams, fostering collaboration that elevates the performance of their colleagues
- Special expertise and fluency with large enterprise customers, with a history of building and maintaining strategic partnerships and delivering customer satisfaction
- Strategically sound and data-driven, with the ability to anticipate and respond to market changes, customer needs, competitive activities, and emerging opportunities
- Entrepreneurial or intrapreneurial DNA, with the ability to navigate and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, while being solution oriented, overcoming challenges and obstacles
- Expertise in sales strategies, techniques, and processes to optimize effective implementation
- World-class communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate a compelling vision, inspire and influence others, and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
- Exceptional leadership and culture-building skills, with the ability to lead by example, foster a sense of purpose and risk-reward, balance accountability and esprit de corps, and create a diverse and inclusive work environment
- Highly intellectual, strong business acumen, analytical thinking, and creative problem-solving
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field
Ensono’ s preference is to hire this position in Downers Grove or Chicago area and are seeking local candidates or candidates open to relocation. We feel this will set the individual and team up for great success. If a candidate is well qualified yet unable to relocate, we are open to remote candidates in the Northeastern, Midwestern, and Southern United States. This position requires the ability to travel up to 40%.
