AoPS Academy is looking for a strategic and engaging Grassroots Marketing Program Manager to develop and implement a new-revenue-generating Grassroots Marketing Program. As the Grassroots Marketing Manager for AoPS Academy, you will play a critical role in helping AoPS Academy grow and reach more students. As a successful Grassroots Marketing Program Manager, you will build a team to engage directly with prospective customers and community partners through outreach, events, partnerships, local marketing, and word-of-mouth marketing for the purpose of generating qualified leads and lasting partnerships. You will build successful and replicable strategies and campaigns that scale with our increasing number of campuses.

The Grassroots Marketing Program Manager will:

• Develop, implement, and optimize local marketing and outreach strategy in partnership with leadership. 
• Build and manage a team to carry out grassroots marketing initiatives. Informs decisions on team and program growth and strategy. 
• Design, implement, document, and improve grassroots marketing systems, processes, and workflows. Trains and enables campuses to utilize these systems and implement campaigns. 
• Enable campuses to build and maintain strong community partnerships. 
• Identify, coordinate, hosts, and supports outreach opportunities on campus and in the community in partnership with campus staff. 
• Runs local advertising efforts and campaigns in collaboration with our Marketing team.
• Develop measures of efficacy, key performance indicators, and budget. 
• Track contacts, leads, attendance, and other data, and regularly collects, analyzes, and reports on findings. 
• Collaborate with campus leadership, growth marketing, business intelligence, and other internal and external stakeholders on procedures, policies, messaging, etc.
• Attain and maintain a deep understanding of our product and our customers.
• Complete other tasks and responsibilities, as assigned.

The ideal candidate has:

• Prior experience as a grassroots marketing rep, sales development rep, territory rep, sales executive, or related role is a must.
• Prior experience managing a team is a must.
• Interest in education and growth marketing is a plus.
• Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficiency with Google Suite, productivity software (ClickUp, Monday, Asana, etc), and CRM tools a plus

Travel: 

• Travel up to 50% will be required.
