Requirements
  • A current Colorado or compact-state Registered Nurse license is required.
  • At least one year of operating room experience is required.
  • Basic Life Support certification is required and must be completed within 90 days of employment if not already certified.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is required and must be completed within 90 days of employment or supported by proof of current certification.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is required if pediatric care is included in the facility’s scope, and must be completed within 90 days of employment or supported by proof of current certification.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills are required.
Responsibilities
  • Circulate in a multispecialty operating room, including robotics, orthopedics, urology, ear, nose and throat, and general surgery.
  • Ensure patient safety, readiness, and experience throughout the perioperative process.
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and clinical teammates.
  • Support efficient surgical workflows in an ambulatory surgery center setting.
Desired Qualifications
  • Ambulatory Surgery Center experience is preferred.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certification is preferred in the role overview.
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification is preferred in the role overview.
  • CNOR or specialty certification in Perioperative Nursing is preferred.
