Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Program Director and Director of Didactic Education to ensure cohesiveness of the didactic curriculum by implementing curricula aligned with the educational philosophy of the Tarleton State University Master of Medical Science in Physician Assistant Medicine.
  • Design original curricula or review and appropriately modify existing curricula to correlate with program-defined learning outcomes and competencies.
  • Generate and deliver classroom learning experiences and clinical skills instruction within basic medical and clinical science topics based on the individual's qualifications.
  • Participate actively in programmatic data gathering and analysis and design and implement action plans in response to the analysis.
  • Participate actively in the accreditation process.
  • Participate actively in the admissions process.
  • Provide effective student advisement and mentorship.
  • Demonstrate commitment to excellence in Physician Assistant medical education, scholarly activity, and servant leadership in rural health.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous clinical precepting or teaching experience for an ARC-PA-accredited Physician Assistant program is preferred.
