Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent relevant experience in lieu of the education requirement.
  • At least 3 years of experience in marketing technology or product management-related roles.
  • Ability to create thorough and clear acceptance criteria for tasks and projects.
  • Experience with marketing technology tools, including content management systems, tag management, customer data platforms, marketing automation software as a service, and emerging artificial intelligence.
  • High-level understanding of how search engine optimization, user interface and user experience, multivariate testing, and personalization interact with marketing and lead generation efforts.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with many moving parts while maintaining focus and attention to detail under tight timelines.
  • Ability to collaborate with teams and self-direct work activities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with diverse groups, including executives and managers.
  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to interpret customer business needs.
  • Demonstrated project management skills.
  • Understanding of common client-side and service-side web technologies.
  • Skills with computer-based projects, resource management systems, and project management tools.
Responsibilities
  • Continually monitor, evaluate, and optimize the marketing technology stack.
  • Act as a bridge between marketing stakeholders and technical teams to align project goals and requirements.
  • Gather marketers' needs and integration requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
  • Establish success metrics tied to business impact and use data, experimentation, and customer insights to guide product strategy and measure progress.
  • Define the technical roadmap and backlog for marketing technology tools.
  • Evaluate third-party software, lead build-versus-buy decisions, and manage vendor relationships and costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement, security, and legal to procure new tools and renew existing platforms.
  • Translate marketing business needs into technical user stories.
  • Assess departmental support for technology use, understand product lifecycles from implementation through maintenance and retirement, and evaluate potential alternatives.
  • Assess the feasibility of significant functionality changes and stakeholder requests for systems managed or shared by the Marketing Website Team.
  • Work with various teams to establish, assign, maintain, and enforce ongoing and periodic audits.
  • Communicate prioritization and plans for addressing needs identified by audits.
  • Support the full product development lifecycle, including ideation, design, testing, documentation, and release activities.
  • Translate product vision and direction from senior product leaders into business requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with guidance.
  • Collaborate with engineering, user experience, marketing, and other stakeholders to build effective solutions to complex problems.
  • Contribute to backlog refinement and prioritization while balancing stakeholder needs and product value.
  • Help define user flows, support mockups, and maintain alignment across cross-functional teams.
  • Participate in quality assurance, user acceptance testing, and release readiness activities.
  • Use data and feedback to evaluate product performance and confirm that problems are effectively solved.
  • Manage product roadmaps to ensure timely delivery of technology solutions.
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, and information technology teams to facilitate effective integration of tools.
  • Analyze market trends to identify and select appropriate technology solutions.
  • Create and maintain product documentation, including user guides and release notes.
  • Drive user adoption and satisfaction through communication and training programs.
  • Develop and maintain documentation of system architecture, integrations, and technology workflows.
  • Establish success metrics for marketing technology initiatives and report regularly on key performance indicators and performance outcomes.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
