Requirements
  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, or Microsoft Dynamics NAV with a clear Business Central trajectory.
  • A solid understanding of core accounting and financial operations.
  • Familiarity with Power BI, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Microsoft 365.
  • Exposure to or genuine curiosity about Microsoft Copilot and artificial-intelligence-assisted workflows.
  • Ability to run client meetings, write clear process documentation, and explain technical decisions to a chief financial officer.
  • An organized and proactive consulting mindset, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to manage multiple clients without dropping threads.
Responsibilities
  • Work directly with mid-market clients to understand their operations, document their processes, and translate business needs into Dynamics 365 Business Central configurations and solutions.
  • Lead and support full-cycle Business Central engagements, including requirements gathering, configuration, training, go-live, and ongoing advisory.
  • Serve as a trusted post-implementation resource and long-term advisor to clients.
  • Use Microsoft Copilot and artificial-intelligence-assisted tools within the Power Platform and Microsoft 365 ecosystem to help clients work more effectively and improve delivery.
  • Contribute to internal capability building as the firm expands its artificial intelligence and automation practice.

Ascend acquires Kreischer Miller for $59.6M in Philadelphia accounting deal

Top 25 accounting firm Ascend has acquired Kreischer Miller, a regional leader in Horsham, Pennsylvania. The deal brings 22 partners and approximately 220 staff to Ascend's platform. Kreischer Miller, serving the Greater Philadelphia and Lehigh Valley areas, reported $59.6 million in revenue as an Accounting Today Mid-Atlantic Regional Leader. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. Ascend, based in Arlington, Virginia, is a private equity-backed platform launched in January 2023 by Alpine Partners. It ranked No. 24 on Accounting Today's 2026 Top 100 Firms list, reporting $590 million in revenue with 282 partners and over 2,600 employees across 63 offices. The acquisition marks Ascend's latest expansion following numerous investments since its launch, including recent additions of firms in Alabama, Ohio, and Texas.
