Requirements
  • 10 years of experience in the limited energy or electrical construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of project management experience.
  • At least 2 years of leadership experience.
  • Strong financial and business acumen, with the ability to anticipate risks and make decisive decisions.
  • The ability to orchestrate labor and resources effectively across multiple projects.
  • Frequent site visits requiring walking, climbing, and standing on uneven surfaces.
  • The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and wear necessary personal protective equipment.
Responsibilities
  • Guide Project Managers in executing the Director of Construction's plans, ensuring projects are installed, commissioned, and invoiced efficiently while maintaining gross margins.
  • Use hands-on project management skills and technical knowledge to coach Project Managers and manage complex projects, reducing rework and warranty issues.
  • Mentor Assistant Project Managers into Project Managers and Project Managers into senior roles.
  • Drive project-level best practices and process improvements, contributing to departmental strategy.
  • Track project margin, budget adherence, and team utilization.
  • Conduct daily check-ins with Project Managers to ensure field readiness and resolve blockers.
  • Monitor project progress and adjust resources as necessary to meet budgets and milestones.
  • Review project pipelines, manage resources, and coordinate with clients and other trades.
  • Conduct financial reviews and performance evaluations focused on margin performance and process improvements.
Desired Qualifications
  • A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • BICSI RCDD certification.
  • NICET III or IV certification.
  • CTS certification.
  • PMP certification.
  • OSHA 30 certification.
