Requirements
  • Three to five or more years of progressive experience in facilities management, operations management, property management, hospitality, commercial services, or a related field.
  • Previous experience managing frontline teams and multiple service functions.
  • Strong leadership and people-management skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Strong understanding of facility operations, maintenance, janitorial, reception, and workplace services.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other workplace management systems.
  • Knowledge of occupational health and safety requirements and best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
  • Oversee the day-to-day delivery of integrated facilities and workplace services.
  • Ensure facility operations and maintenance activities are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with established standards.
  • Conduct and oversee regular facility inspections and ensure deficiencies, faults, and maintenance issues are identified, reported, and resolved in a timely manner.
  • Monitor service performance and implement corrective actions where required.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and service providers to ensure seamless facility operations.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs and follow up on outstanding maintenance requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service quality, and the overall client experience.
  • Lead, supervise, and support janitorial, reception/mail, and other workplace services teams.
  • Establish daily priorities, allocate resources, and ensure adequate staffing and service coverage.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop employees to achieve operational and service expectations.
  • Support employee onboarding, training, performance management, and ongoing development.
  • Ensure employees maintain required qualifications and receive appropriate training.
  • Address employee concerns and operational issues promptly and escalate when appropriate.
  • Oversee qualified vendor verification and site access requirements.
  • Ensure contractors and vendors comply with site policies, safety requirements, and established procedures.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and monitor service quality and performance.
  • Maintain strong working relationships with vendors and service partners.
  • Address vendor performance concerns and implement corrective actions as required.
  • Oversee the delivery and quality of janitorial, reception, mail, and courier services.
  • Ensure teams consistently meet established service standards and client expectations.
  • Provide operational direction and support to frontline service teams.
  • Act as a backup for reception and mail services when required.
  • Monitor staffing, schedules, service levels, and overall team performance.
  • Oversee the delivery of special and periodic cleaning services.
  • Ensure specialized cleaning requirements are properly scheduled, coordinated, and completed.
  • Oversee indoor plant service delivery and ensure service standards are maintained.
  • Monitor vendor performance and address service deficiencies as required.
  • Oversee meeting room management and workplace support services.
  • Ensure meeting spaces are properly prepared and maintained for client meetings and events.
  • Coordinate office support service requests and ensure timely completion.
  • Work with the client to identify and address changing workplace service needs.
  • Work closely with the Account Manager to ensure contractual obligations and service standards are consistently met.
  • Serve as a key operational point of contact for the client and workplace stakeholders.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to client requests, concerns, and service issues.
  • Support client meetings, operational reviews, reporting, and service improvement initiatives.
  • Act as the Account Manager's backup when required.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery.
  • Ensure all operations are conducted in accordance with company, client, and legislative health and safety requirements.
  • Promote a strong safety culture across all teams and service areas.
  • Ensure employees and vendors follow established safety policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Identify and address safety hazards and operational risks.
  • Support incident reporting, investigations, and corrective actions as required.

Dexterra Group revenue climbs 8% to $269M as EBITDA margin hits 12%

Dexterra Group reported strong Q2 2026 results, with revenue rising 8% year-over-year to $269 million and adjusted EBITDA increasing 9% to $33 million. The company achieved a 12% adjusted EBITDA margin and generated $22 million in free cash flow during the quarter. Support services revenue grew 10% to $226 million, whilst asset-based services revenue reached $43 million. The asset-based services segment saw its adjusted EBITDA margin improve to 40% from 38% in the prior year period, driven by higher-margin workforce accommodation rental revenue. Net debt decreased to $206 million from $225 million at the end of March 2026, representing 1.5 times adjusted EBITDA. The company's trailing 12-month return on equity reached 15.4%, meeting its 15% target. Dexterra declared a dividend of $0.10 per share, payable in October 2026.
