The Impact U will make:
- Report to our VP of Accounting
- Efficiently manage accounting processes and maintain a robust reporting system.
- Reconcile financial software systems, banking accounts, and other financial accounts.
- Ensure accurate accounts payable and receivable, and oversee annual audits.
- Stay informed about federal, state, and local healthcare accounting regulations.
- File tax forms in accordance with government agencies.
- Conduct performance reviews for business office staff.
- Collaborate with the CFO to disseminate information to the team.
- Operate and maintain general ledger, purchasing, and invoicing system.
What U bring:
- 8+ years of relevant accounting experience as a Certified Public Accountant
- Has managed the monthly financial close by reviewing account schedules, journal entries, and working cross-functionally with other internal stakeholders to obtain relevant information.
- Reviewing balance sheet account reconciliations and supporting schedules, ensuring completeness and accuracy of applicable ledger accounts and oversee the timely completion of the monthly close and reconciliation process
- Answering accounting and financial inquiries from internal and external stakeholders by researching and interpreting data
- Serve as a key point of contact for year-end audits,
- Recommend and implement improvements as appropriate to simplify, standardize, and streamline processes; ensure accounting policies, procedures and SOX controls are adequate and regularly updated
- Forge strong working relationships and collaborate across functional and international team members

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $175,000 - $220,000 + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee. Please note that the salary range reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity or perks/benefits.
