Southeastern Louisiana University's Department of Biological Sciences invites applications for the position of Center Manager. This individual will assist the Center Director with all administration tasks of the Center for Environmental Research. Specific duties include processing the hiring and re-hiring of all project personnel and graduate students, making purchases and processing purchasing requisitions, submitting spend authorizations, and travel reimbursements for the principal investigators, submission of budget revisions, maintaining project schedules and fieldwork calendars, coordination of project meetings, maintenance of the project and Center websites and social media outlets, and all other associated administrative and fiscal duties associated with the Center. The Center Manager will report to the Center Director.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in any field from an accredited university
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Preference will be given to candidates with a Master’s degree
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, ABILITIES AND SKILLS
Ability to work under pressure, work with minimal supervision, handle multi-task projects and complete work within established deadlines
Experience with Microsoft Office, a strong attention to detail, and experience operating various pieces of office equipment
