Requirements
  • Candidates should be pursuing a graduate degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Web Development, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of common Linux/Unix commands and functions.
  • Ability to analyze and resolve moderately complex issues related to application support and logging.
  • Ability to implement solutions with complex business requirements and systems integrations.
  • Understanding of data governance principles and best practices.
  • Proficiency in SQL and either Python or R.
  • Familiarity with statistical and machine learning concepts.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with data scientists to design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines that support machine learning models and advanced analytics.
  • Transform raw data into reliable, well-documented datasets optimized for analysis and modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver high-quality datasets.
  • Prepare detailed specifications, requirements, scope documents, and logic flowcharts for the development and implementation of complex application programs and modifications.
  • Perform application testing to ensure solutions are executable, testable, complete, unambiguous, and meet end-user requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with or interest in ETL/ELT development and data pipeline architecture.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms such as AWS, Databricks, or Snowflake.
  • Exposure to DataOps or MLOps methodologies and tools.
  • Generative AI design and implementation experience.
  • Version control experience with GitHub.
  • Experience with test automation technologies such as PyTest and JUnit.
  • Experience with API technologies such as Apigee, OpenAPI Specification (Swagger), REST/JSON, Splunk, and JavaScript.
  • Ability to learn and teach, along with awareness of technology trends.

Nationwide hits record $73.2B in sales as insurer enters 100th year

Nationwide has reported record financial results for 2025, entering its centennial year with total adjusted capital of $32.8 billion, the highest in its 100-year history.
