- Six or more years of experience in a network support role.
- An Associate’s degree in a related field; additional work experience may be substituted for degree requirements.
- Must be Security+ CE certified.
- Hands-on experience with physical network infrastructure (switches, routers).
- Experience with network implementation and maintenance.
- Knowledge of Cisco routers and switches.
- Able to maintain current knowledge and skills through in-services, workshops, and/or seminars.
- Demonstrate flexibility in adjusting to variable workload and job duties.
- Able to interact professionally with all levels of an organization.
- Must be a United States citizen and hold a current Secret clearance.
- Analyze, test, troubleshoot, and evaluate existing network systems, such as local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet systems.
- Perform network maintenance to ensure networks operate correctly with minimal interruption.
