Requirements
  • Industry software engineering experience, preferably within financial services.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, support, and productionise data and analytics that are integral to TradingHub's products.
  • Enhance understanding of financial markets and how market data is used within key products.
  • Contribute to developing new tools for data lineage, governance, and reporting.
  • Research data storage techniques and processing methods for large data sets.
  • Use the in-house big data language for large-scale modelling and analysis.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to solve and understand critical production issues.
Desired Qualifications
  • Knowledge of AWS services such as ECS, S3, and DynamoDB.

TradingHub provides a subscription SaaS platform for capital markets that includes trade surveillance, AML, best execution analysis, and reporting tools. Its core products are MAST for market abuse surveillance, AMLA for anti-money laundering, TEAM for best execution, and CaaS for building custom calculations and reports. The system uses a risk-based approach to detect unusual trading behavior across equities, fixed income, FX, and commodities and is highly customizable, allowing clients to add tools and tailor workflows. Nordic Capital acquires majority stake in TradingHub to expand trade surveillance platform

TradingHub, a trade surveillance technology provider for financial institutions, has secured a strategic investment from Nordic Capital, which will become the majority shareholder. Existing investor Summit Partners and co-founder Neil Walker will retain minority stakes. Financial terms were not disclosed, with completion expected in Q2 2026. Founded in 2010, TradingHub processes over four billion trades and orders daily, serving major investment banks, asset managers and hedge funds from offices in London, Toronto, Singapore and Sydney. The company will use the funding to accelerate global expansion and enhance its platform across asset classes, including equities. Nordic Capital brings expertise in supporting technology businesses, with a portfolio including financial institution software companies like Itiviti, Duco and Regnology. CEO Mike Coats and the existing management team will continue leading TradingHub.
