Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience, preferably with Fortinet, Cisco, and/or Aruba certifications.
  • A Bachelor's or higher degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience supporting large-scale enterprise technology environments, ideally in retail.
  • Working knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure Library and Information Technology Service Management frameworks.
  • Expert knowledge of network protocols and network infrastructure components, including software-defined wide area networking, routers, switches, and firewalls.
  • Solid experience with Fortinet, Aruba, Zscaler, Cisco, and Juniper products.
  • Knowledge of automation frameworks such as Ansible and Terraform.
  • Exposure to Python, Shell, or PowerShell scripting for task automation and efficiency improvements.
  • Experience working in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services hosted environments with infrastructure teams.
  • Strong understanding of security, identity, monitoring, and availability practices.
  • Experience supporting production systems, investigating incidents, and resolving operational issues.
  • Familiarity with enterprise audit, compliance, and control frameworks relevant to enterprise technology environments.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support secure, resilient enterprise network services for Fleet Mobility and Convenience retail operations across retail sites, data centers, and cloud environments.
  • Configure, deploy, and evolve zero-trust networking capabilities by integrating network and security controls across global enterprise connectivity services.
  • Collaborate with architecture, security, cloud, and operations teams on enterprise network standards and roadmaps aligned with technology strategy, business priorities, and retail operational needs.
  • Act as a senior technical escalation point for complex network incidents by performing advanced troubleshooting, contributing to root-cause analysis, and supporting corrective actions in production environments.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation and standards, including network designs, configurations, mappings, and operational procedures.

BP shares jump 2.1% as Q2 profit surges to $5.7B on oil rally and refining strength

BP's US-listed shares rose roughly 2.1% on Monday after the energy company reported second-quarter underlying replacement-cost profit of $5.7 billion, approximately $2.5 billion higher than the previous quarter and more than double the $2.35 billion earned a year ago. Higher commodity prices, refining, and trading contributed to the results. The company increased its dividend by 4% whilst reducing net debt by roughly $3 billion in the quarter. BP is pursuing divestments targeting $20 billion through 2027, including its US biogas operation Archaea. With Brent crude above $86, BP plans capital expenditure of $13.5 billion to $14 billion this year. At $42.66, the stock trades about 8.4% above its $39.34 GF Value estimate.

BP to acquire Woodside's 70% stake in Trinidad and Tobago Calypso gas project

BP has agreed to purchase Woodside Energy's 70% stake in the Calypso gas project offshore Trinidad and Tobago. The deal, expected to close by the end of 2026 pending approvals, will make BP sole owner and operator of Block TTDAA 14. The transaction includes cash consideration and contingent payments, though specific amounts were not disclosed. Calypso is an early-stage deepwater gas development located approximately 220km offshore in waters around 2,100m deep. Woodside CEO Liz Westcott said the divestment streamlines the company's portfolio. The sale will conclude Woodside's decades-long presence in Trinidad and Tobago. BP already serves as the largest natural gas supplier to Trinidad and Tobago's domestic market and holds a 45% stake in the Atlantic LNG facility.

BP reviewing TravelCenters of America after $1.3B buy as CEO pushes cost cuts

BP posts four-year profit high as it pulls back from renewables
