Requirements
  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.
  • Bachelors Degree concentrating in Operations Management, Business or Supply Chain (preferred).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel software applications (preferred).
  • Previous change management experience (preferred).
  • Experience providing direct customer service (preferred).
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule. Ability to be on-call at various times. Must be able to work weekends and holidays (preferred).
  • The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a high school diploma and/or GED (minimum).
  • 5 years of work experience (minimum).
Responsibilities
  • Manage the workflow for the MDO operation and related transportation or warehouse related systems.
  • Leverage work in progress (WIP) metrics to stay on plan or identify issues to resolve.
  • Manage building and operating conditions to ensure a clean, safe, and positive associate environment.
  • Monitor the MDO building level scorecard, financials, and safety metrics and identify recommendations for improvement or address any potential issues.
  • Oversee exception handling for deliveries, which may include interfacing with customers or Home Depot department to resolve any identified issues.
  • Manage all inbound and outbound loads (either directly with THD drivers or indirectly through 3PL on-site delivery or transportation delivery agent) to ensure performance meets expectations.
