Requirements
  • Experience and Skills: Brings at least 5 years of litigation paralegal experience (8+ years strongly preferred), with a strong background in civil litigation. Experience handling real estate matters is highly valued.
  • Technical Proficiency: Experience with Filevine (or similar case management software) is preferred, along with the ability to leverage AI tools such as Spellbook and vLex’s Vincent AI to improve efficiency.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrates exceptional verbal and written communication skills, enabling clear, concise, timely, and proactive communication with attorneys, staff, clients, courts, and opposing counsel. The successful candidate proactively communicates developments, identifies potential issues before they become problems, and recognizes that effective internal communication and teamwork are critical to ensuring deadlines are met, matters are properly prioritized, and clients receive outstanding service.
  • Organizational Skills: Excels at managing multiple priorities, maintaining meticulous organization, and ensuring deadlines and deliverables are consistently met in a fast-paced environment.
  • Reliability: Dependable, punctual, and accountable, with a proven history of consistently meeting deadlines and following through on commitments.

  • On-Site Engagement: This is a full-time, in-office position based in our Naples, Florida office. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative environment and enjoys working closely with colleagues. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Document Drafting: Prepare, draft, and review a wide range of litigation documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other critical legal filings that support successful case outcomes.
  • Case Management: Oversee and maintain organized case files, evidence, and correspondence, ensuring attorneys have timely access to the information they need at every stage of litigation.
  • Real Estate & Special Matters: Assist with complex real estate disputes, foreclosures, title matters, probate-related matters, and other specialized legal issues, contributing to high-quality legal representation across diverse matters.
  • Legal Research: Conduct thorough legal research and prepare memoranda that help attorneys develop effective legal strategies and well-supported arguments.
  • Client Interaction: Build strong client relationships through professional, responsive communication, providing a positive experience while keeping matters moving forward.
  • Calendar Coordination: Coordinate hearings, depositions, trial preparation, and key litigation deadlines, helping ensure matters progress efficiently and nothing falls through the cracks.
  • Administrative Support: Provide executive administrative support to the firm owner as needed, including calendaring, meeting reminders, and related coordination to help keep priorities organized and on track.
