  • Undergraduate bachelor's degree in human resources or equivalent practical experience
  • Minimum of 5+ years of People Ops / HR manager or generalist experience in the Transportation, Logistics, or Operations industry
  • Strong working knowledge and generalist experience in all human resources operational areas
  • Track record of personal accountability, strong work ethic, integrity, and proven organizational skills
  • Strong working knowledge of compensation and benefits design and administration, HRIS platforms, and payroll administration systems

  • Lead day-to-day HR processes for Fleet Operations organization
  • Ensure compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and Canadian CMV carrier compliance requirements
  • Cultivate a positive and inclusive work environment
  • Identify legal, compliance, and regulatory requirements affecting Human Resources
  • Guide and assist international talent with the visa sponsorship process
  • Effectively manage and track employee paid time off (PTO) and leave plans
  • Embody and uphold the company’s core values
  • Partner closely with leadership to develop and implement effective onboarding and employee development programs
  • Develop effective partnership with leadership across the organization
  • Develop a Total Rewards strategy to reward, recognize, and motivate employees
