Requirements
  • At least 4 years of compensation or related experience.
  • A Bachelor's degree, preferably focused in Finance, Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics; other majors will also be considered.
  • Strong quantitative skills.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to synthesize and communicate large amounts of data into key findings and identify related business issues.
  • Strong attention to detail while maintaining focus on broader objectives.
  • Confidence presenting and defending methodology and recommendations to C-level and Board of Directors audiences.
  • Leadership experience mentoring or developing peers or junior team members.
  • Strong interpersonal and project management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple complex projects in a fast-paced, loosely structured, deadline-oriented environment.
  • Ability to operate independently while maintaining open communication about changing priorities.
  • A track record of success reflected in historical performance ratings and/or utilization.
Responsibilities
  • Serve as an intermediary between Account Managers or Partners, junior staff resources, and clients.
  • Lead client projects from start to finish, translating client needs into analysis and design recommendations covering executive compensation, board of director compensation, incentive plan design, and equity guidelines.
  • Lead projects within agreed timelines and budgets.
  • Review and be accountable for the methodology, analysis, and output of each staffed project.
  • Provide regular mentorship and developmental feedback to junior staff.
  • Develop summary reports containing findings and recommendations.
  • Interface with clients and co-deliver presentations.
  • Assist in coordinating key areas of firm research.
  • Assist with new business and firm development activities, including speeches and white papers.
