Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required.
  • Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Technician or Patient Care Technician program, or a Nursing Assistant, EKG, and Phlebotomy program, or a Medical Assistant program, with documentation of completion, is required.
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification is required.
  • The employee must be able to lift, move, and position patients of all weights with varying amounts of assistance on a regular and recurring basis.
  • The employee must have the dexterity and sensory abilities required for speech, touch, vision, and hearing within the normal range with corrections.
Responsibilities
  • Provide select patient-care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse.
  • Improve the patient experience by providing comfort and caring.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and healthy patient environment.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least one year of experience as a Nurse Technician, Patient Care Technician, or Medical Assistant in a healthcare setting is preferred.
