  • Bachelor of Arts degree preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Develop conceptual design presentations and can take a project from conception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time, budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Complete full specification packages (including space plans, material selections, and elevation details) for model home projects.
  • Prepare detailed documentation for construction and procurement.
  • Attend design presentation meetings, frame walks and final model walks.
  • Purchase, track and maintain inventory of model furniture.
  • Assist Merchandising Manager and Director on special design projects as necessary.
  • Manage project costs and provide final budgets to Merchandising Manager.
  • Attend Design Presentation meetings, frame walks and final model walks as necessary.
  • Assist in coordinating delivery and installation schedules of model furniture.
  • Attend model installations and direct installation crews and design assistants, addressing any discrepancies or issues as needed to maintain design integrity and a successful project execution.
  • Stay abreast of current design trends and practices; attend industry trade shows as needed.
