Requirements
  • High school diploma/GED plus four (4) years of direct job-related technical experience
  • A minimum of 2 years at a Journeyman Level or Fully Qualified Shift Technician
Responsibilities
  • Executes all phases of a Systematic Approach to Training by identifying and defining training and job scope needs that enhance line performance through various analysis processes.
  • Designs and develops learning and development curriculum.
  • Integrates industry best practices materials and lessons learned by experts.
  • Utilizes current instructional technology and strategies such as virtual learning, vision, computer-based training (CBT) and dynamic learning activities.
  • Implements learning events and programs by delivering classroom training.
  • Develops and maintains training program schedules, task lists and other program documents required to meet ACAD requirements.
  • Evaluates training curriculum and program to determine if student and organization needs are met and implemented appropriately.
  • Supervises students in all training settings to ensure standards of conduct prescribed on Nuclear Training Department procedures are met.
  • Reinforces management standards and expectations in all training settings.
  • Performs self-assessments and observations of line activities to identify strengths and weaknesses needing corrective action.
  • Partners with line management to manage and monitor training programs.
  • Maintains technical knowledge and skills in assigned discipline.
