- Ability to install and configure various operating systems – Windows, Linux, OS X, Android
- Ability to install and run Storage benchmark applications
- Ability to work with general OS tools: Windows Preinstallation Environment, PowerShell
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong technical skills – able to read a technical document and work through challenging technical issues to deliver results
- Storage protocol and/or device experience (SATA, SCSI, NVMe)
- Experience debugging software in an embedded environment
- Gain knowledge and experience with STG custom tools: SRMU, Iometer, ETW tracing, etc.
- Not able to work with candidates on H1B Visas or candidates represented by third parties
- Work as part of a software development team to create and maintain solutions that support the product development and validation team members in their efforts to generate data for Pathfinding purposes
- Most days will consist of implementing features, configuring experiments, collecting data in the lab, or debugging issues
- Experience with SATA, NVMe I/O capture and analyzers is nice to have
- Java, Batch and Shell scripting is nice to have
- Ability to initialize and configure various OSs – Windows, Linux, OS X, Android (note: already listed in requirements; keeping as desirable if different wording)
