Requirements
  • A Bachelor’s Degree is required; related work experience may substitute for some educational requirements.
  • At least 4 years of compensation experience, including compensation incentive analysis, administration, and design experience, is required.
  • Advanced Excel expertise is required, including pivot tables, graphs, indexing, VLOOKUPs, and other advanced functionality.
  • Experience with PowerPoint and Word is required.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills are required.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
  • Ability to create graphic presentations of data is required.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight timelines is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide guidance and consultation to HR Business Partners and Leaders regarding compensation, incentive design, regulatory requirements, and other compensation-related programs.
  • Complete job evaluations for Leaders, Human Resources, and Talent Acquisition to retain, reward, and recruit key talent.
  • Assist with and recommend job descriptions for new, modified, and consolidated jobs across the Company.
  • Create and maintain the current salary structure for the entire Company, including geographical differentials.
  • Lead compensation processes such as merit, minimum wage, sales incentives, annual bonus, and other compensation-related programs.
  • Audit base salary issues on an ongoing basis as they apply to the external market, internal equity, and salary guideline compliance.
  • Review and approve compensation exceptions according to the Compensation guidelines.
  • Conduct reviews and recommend actions based on the Fair Labor Standards Act and state-required compensation regulations.
  • Perform advanced compensation analysis, make recommendations to identify trends, and create dashboards and other requested analyses.
  • Lead incentive and commission plan design and implementation as required.
  • Develop compensation communications and training materials to support various programs and changes.
  • Partner with other analysts to identify and implement process enhancements and develop new applications or upgrades for compensation systems and tools by documenting business requirements, advising on processes, testing systems, and updating data structures.
  • Assess the impact of compensation changes on budgets and revenue and recommend program design options, costs, and alternative approaches.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with human resources information system merit and bonus processing is preferred.
