Requirements
  • Currently pursuing a graduate degree in Business (with a focus on cybersecurity), Cyber Policy, Cybersecurity, Cyber Threat or Risk Management, or a related field.
  • Able to work at least 20 hours/week (if during the semester) or 40 hours/week during the Summer
  • Must be able to obtain an active security clearance
  • Must agree to and sign a non-disclosure agreement, which will include social media guidelines
  • Solid understanding of cybersecurity technologies, tools, and frameworks (e.g., cloud security, SIEM, threat detection, encryption). Background in Computer Science, Information Systems, Software Engineering highly desired.
  • Strong analytical, research, and writing skills, with the ability to connect technical details to broader market trends.
  • Proactive problem-solver with the ability to take direction and deliver outcomes independently.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience preparing concise reports and professional presentations.
Responsibilities
  • Aid in the creation of high-quality deliverables such as market reports, competitive landscape analyses, technical one-pagers, and presentations.
  • Conduct detailed research and analysis on cybersecurity trends, emerging technologies, policies and regulations, and threats.
  • Assist in diligence on potential investments by analyzing technical feasibility, market potential, competitive advantages, and product differentiation. This may also require the intern to identify, recruit and collaborate with internal and external subject matter experts to validate technical feasibility.
  • Provide the Cyber Practice with operational and administrative support such as maintaining documentation, organizing shared resources, aiding in the facilitation of new and/or existing processes and ensuring timely execution of critical tasks.
  • Support the operational needs of Red Cell incubation companies within the practice, including developing standard operating procedures to streamline internal workflows, tracking project milestones, and creating high-quality investor or client-facing materials to support their growth.
  • Help with coordination of events, logistics, and materials for team engagements and meetings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Familiarity with emerging areas such as AI/ML in cybersecurity, zero-trust architectures, post-quantum technologies, or decentralized systems.
  • Previous experience in cybersecurity, technology consulting, venture capital, or market research is a plus.
