project44's Intelligent TMS earns G2 Leader status in TMS Enterprise Grid report.

project44's Intelligent TMS earns G2 Leader status in TMS Enterprise Grid report. On its first appearance in G2's TMS Grid, Intelligent TMS outscored key competitors on customer satisfaction across every segment, earning Leader status in seven reports. August 28, 2026 09:00 ET | Source: project44 CHICAGO, Aug. 28, 2026 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) - project44, the Decision Intelligence Platform for the modern supply chain, today announced that its Intelligent TMS has been named a Leader in the G2 Fall 2026 Enterprise Grid Report for Transportation Management Systems. The Fall 2026 report marks the first time Intelligent TMS has appeared on any G2 TMS Grid, and it earned Leader status in seven reports alongside its debut: the Enterprise Grid, Mid-Market Grid, Overall Grid, Momentum Grid, Asia Pacific Regional Grid, Asia Regional Grid, and India Regional Grid. This customer validation is a testament to project44's rapid development and continued innovation within its Intelligent TMS. This is made possible from 12 years of experience building unparalleled context, a differentiated semantic layer, and AI agents for the world's leading logistics solution. It also reflects a broader shift in how companies choose technology partners. Instead of relying on legacy analyst methods built around pre-purchase inquiries and expressed interest, buyers are now selecting vendors based on proven ability to deliver value: real customer results, a clear understanding of business goals, strong execution, financial stability, and advanced AI. Capabilities built for enterprise transportation management Intelligent TMS offers planning and execution capabilities across full truckload, less-than-truckload, ocean, air, parcel, intermodal rail, and drayage on a single platform. It connects shippers to an expansive network of 282,000 carriers with no custom EDI required, enabling teams to source outside their existing carrier network when market conditions or internal priorities shift. The platform is AI-native, built on the world's largest, most accurate, and real-time logistics data graph. It unifies predictive ETAs with 95%+ accuracy, real-time carrier performance data, and live market rates into one place, something legacy ERP-based TMS platforms weren't designed to support. The results are measurable: customers can achieve a 4% reduction in freight costs and a 17% increase in on-time delivery, while automation and AI agents reduce manual effort by up to 70%. How G2 measures Leader status G2's Satisfaction score is derived entirely from verified customer reviews and measures whether a product delivers on its stated capabilities. Of the 11 vendors scored on the Enterprise Grid, only four placed in the Leader quadrant, and Intelligent TMS placed among them. project44 holds an overall rating of 4.7 out of 5 across 733 reviews on G2, with 93% of users saying the product is headed in the right direction. Across verified reviews, project44 scored 93% on Ease of Doing Business With and 93% on Quality of Support. These are above the G2 category average. Commercial momentum The G2 results arrive alongside sustained commercial growth. Intelligent TMS grew shipper revenue 57% year over year in FY27 Q2, making it the fastest-growing product line at project44. project44 recently extended iTMS with new agent capabilities and product releases across the shipment lifecycle: * Automated Booking Orchestration for Ocean Freight is an allocation-aware capability that matches sailing schedules against contracted carrier capacity, selects the optimal vessel, and submits confirmed bookings to carriers without manual intervention. * The Ocean Booking data enrichment Agent continuously monitors carrier schedules for schedule shifts, cancellations, and capacity changes to automatically trigger rebooking or alert the customer. * The Execution Recovery Agent identifies carrier cancellations and rebooks canceled freight across the network before pickup windows close, protecting service levels. These releases extend project44's agent portfolio across the full shipment lifecycle, from freight procurement to execution recovery for truckload, to ocean booking enrichment, to proof-of-delivery capture, reinforcing project44 as the AI-native platform automating decisions at every stage of the shipment journey. "Our partnership with project44 has played an important role in helping Tailored Brands build a more connected and visible supply chain," said Jamie Bragg, EVP & Chief Supply Chain Officer at Tailored Brands. "As we introduce Intelligent TMS, the solution will enable us to further connect planning, execution, and analytics to drive smarter, more efficient operations across our network." About project44 project44 is the Decision Intelligence Platform for the modern supply chain. Its context-based AI transforms fragmented logistics management into unified intelligence, bringing certainty to global supply chain operations. With intelligent transportation management, end-to-end visibility, yard management and last mile solutions, and a preferred carrier network of 282,000 carriers, project44 connects over 1.5 billion shipments annually for over 1,000 leading brands in manufacturing, automotive, retail, life sciences, food and beverage, CPG, and oil, chemical and gas. Permanent Capital Ventures builds Series A AI GTM thesis.

Permanent Capital Ventures builds Series A AI GTM thesis. Permanent Capital Ventures is an early-stage venture firm leading Series A investments in applied-AI companies. The firm is led by Co-Founders and Managing Partners Mike Gamson and Jason Duboe, two operators and investors whose careers converged on the same bottleneck: technical founders can reach product-market fit before they have built an enterprise sales organization capable of scaling it. The firm says it began in early 2024, has raised more than $350M since inception, and is now investing from the $200M PCV Fund II. Its market thesis is that AI can accelerate product creation while making distribution, customer segmentation, revenue operations, and go-to-market discipline more consequential. Permanent Capital Ventures matters now because it is turning that operating handoff into the center of its investment model. About Permanent Capital Ventures. Permanent Capital Ventures publicly introduced itself on August 27, 2026 as a venture firm built for applied-AI companies entering the stretch between early demand and repeatable enterprise growth. The launch arrives in a venture market full of broad AI mandates, but the firm's definition is narrower: technical teams with real product-market fit evidence, complex operating problems, and a need to turn founder-led selling into a durable go-to-market system. The firm reports more than $350M raised since early 2024, including the $200M PCV Fund II. Those figures describe capital under the firm's stated strategy, not fund performance, realized returns, or a ranking against older franchises. The more useful distinction is how Permanent Capital Ventures intends to deploy its time: the current investment thesis says each team member makes 1-2 investments per year so the firm can remain deeply involved with a small group of companies. Investment philosophy. Permanent Capital Ventures focuses on applied-AI companies after the earliest signs of product-market fit. The firm looks for founder-market fit, technical depth, and a product connected to a consequential problem, then concentrates on the transition from founder-led sales to an operating structure designed for enterprise scale. Hiring plans, customer segmentation, sales process, revenue operations, and organizational design all become part of the investment conversation. That philosophy carries a practical wager. AI lowers some of the friction involved in building and shipping software, but customers still need a reason to buy, a process they can trust, and a company capable of serving them repeatedly. Permanent Capital Ventures is arguing that distribution becomes more valuable as product creation accelerates, especially in legacy industries where technical sophistication and commercial adoption rarely move at the same speed. Leadership built around the go-to-market handoff. Mike Gamson spent 11 years at LinkedIn and eventually led its global sales organization as revenue grew to more than $5B, according to the firm's biography. He later served as CEO of legal-technology company Relativity and AI-biotechnology company Evozyne. Permanent Capital Ventures also says Gamson has advised or invested in more than 100 companies over 20 years. Jason Duboe began in institutional venture investing at Summit Partners, later worked at Chicago Ventures, and joined project44 as Chief Growth Officer after leading Chicago Ventures' investment in the company. The firm says he helped scale project44 beyond $100M in annual recurring revenue. That pairing gives Permanent Capital Ventures a point of view informed by both investment selection and the daily mechanics of building revenue organizations. The current team also includes Partner Brian Frank, COO Ivaldo Basso, Principals Jessie Abrams and Wenz Xing, and executive assistants Rosi Bodnar and Nakesha Jasper. The relevant signal is the mix of investment and operating backgrounds across sales, revenue operations, enterprise software, fund operations, and organizational support. Portfolio and ecosystem positioning. The current Permanent Capital Ventures portfolio contains 12 companies spanning compensation intelligence, financial services, CRM, configure-price-quote software, supply chains, sales technology, insurance, beverage distribution, software operations, remittances, mortgage technology, and dental revenue-cycle management. The roster includes Compa, Cynch, Day.ai, Logik.io, Lyric, Mia, Outmarket, Provi, Recur Software, Taptap Send, Tidalwave, and Wisdom. Most of the disclosed entries are Series A investments, with Provi and Taptap Send shown as Series C investments. That mix suggests the firm's operating thesis can extend beyond a single financing label, but the common thread remains companies with technical products facing the organizational work of enterprise adoption. The firm has not published a realized-performance or exit record that would support broader claims about returns. Why founders pay attention. Permanent Capital Ventures is selling something more demanding than access to a check. A concentrated portfolio creates the expectation that partners will have the time and operating range to work through specific problems instead of delivering general advice at board meetings. Founders evaluating the firm should ask how that help appears in hiring, pipeline design, segmentation, compensation, sales leadership, and revenue operations during the months when growth becomes less forgiving. The firm's value proposition will become visible in those handoffs. Experience at LinkedIn, project44, Relativity, Evozyne, Cameo, and institutional investment firms can be useful, but every portfolio company has a different sales cycle, buyer, product maturity, and organizational constraint. Concentration gives Permanent Capital Ventures room to adapt; it also makes adaptation part of the promise founders are entitled to examine. Portfolio hiring as an operating signal. Several portfolio companies currently maintain official career or job pages, including Compa, Cynch, Day.ai, Lyric, Mia, Outmarket, Provi, Recur Software, Taptap Send, and Wisdom. Hiring availability changes quickly, so readers should verify current roles directly with each company rather than relying on a fixed job count. The existence of those hiring paths matters beyond recruiting. Teams adding capacity in compensation data, AI-enabled financial services, enterprise software, insurance, mortgage technology, and operational infrastructure are showing where product demand is creating organizational work. Founders and operators can use the portfolio as a live map of the functions these companies need as they move from early traction toward scale. What Permanent Capital Ventures signals for Venture Capital. Permanent Capital Ventures enters a crowded market with a specific institutional claim: go-to-market execution can be a venture firm's product, not just a service listed on a platform page. The firm's applied-AI focus makes that claim timely because technical velocity can expose commercial weakness faster. A company can ship more frequently and still struggle to identify the right buyer, design a repeatable process, or build a revenue organization that survives beyond the founder's personal network. PCV Fund II gives Gamson, Duboe, and the team more capital to test that model. The lasting record will come from how the portfolio converts technical conviction into customer adoption without imposing one operating template across 12 different companies. That work continues inside the hiring decisions, sales systems, and market choices that determine whether early demand becomes an enduring enterprise. project44 introduces Mo AI analyst to deliver faster, data-driven supply chain decisions.

project44 introduces Mo AI analyst to deliver faster, data-driven supply chain decisions. July 27, 2026 project44 has introduced Mo, a conversational AI supply chain analyst embedded within its Decision Intelligence Platform to help organizations access faster, more accurate operational insights using their own logistics data and business rules. Unlike generic AI tools or traditional analytics platforms, Mo leverages project44's real-time logistics data graph alongside a customer's shipment history, carrier performance, standard operating procedures, and key performance indicators to provide context-aware responses without requiring manual data exports or dashboard navigation. The AI analyst is designed to transform tasks that previously took hours or days into responses delivered within minutes while offering greater accuracy and lower latency. Internal testing showed Mo answering operational queries in approximately 2.5 minutes compared with roughly 18 minutes with Claude Opus, while avoiding significant calculation errors. Machine Learning & Artificial Intelligence At launch, Mo supports truckload, less-than-truckload, and ocean freight data, with additional capabilities planned through 2026 as part of project44's vision for customer-specific sovereign AI models. "We've spent more than a decade building the world's largest, most accurate, real-time logistics data graph. But connecting the data, cleaning it, and building rules to govern it was just the beginning. Mo takes all of this context and customer data and makes it simple and accessible, solving hours-long tasks in seconds. Multiply that across every question a supply chain team asks in a day and, suddenly, teams are going to see a fundamental transformation in how they work on a daily basis," said Jett McCandless, founder and CEO of project44.

project44 launches conversational AI analyst to turn real-time supply chain data into faster, more confident decisions.

project44 launches conversational AI analyst to turn real-time supply chain data into faster, more confident decisions. July 23, 2026 Mo reasons across each customer's own data and business rules, drawing on the context project44 provides through the world's largest, most accurate, real-time logistics data graph to answer questions teams can act on immediately. CHICAGO, July 23, 2026 - project44, the Decision Intelligence Platform for the modern supply chain, announced Mo, a conversational AI supply chain analyst built directly into the project44 platform. Mo reasons across a customer's own data and business rules, drawing on the world's largest, most accurate, real-time logistics data graph, so the answers operators get are more reliable, grounded in the data feeding them. Supply chain teams have more data than ever, but they can't get fast, reliable answers without manually pulling reports, navigating dashboards, or exporting data into a separate system. Most of the solutions that exist today, whether generic AI or traditional analytics platforms, are generalized to work the same way across every customer, so getting to a specific answer means building a one-off workaround for every question. That process delays decisions past the window where action still matters, and it bottlenecks through analyst experts, so most of the team can't self-serve an answer. Every extra step slows the decision down and chips away at trust in the answer itself. Mo's answers are grounded in a customer's own shipment data, business rules, and carrier history, not generic industry benchmarks or a vanilla LLM's training data. Tuned with a semantic understanding of the language and relationships that govern supply chain data, Mo reasons across a customer's SOPs, strategies, and KPIs alongside the world's largest, most accurate, real-time logistics data graph, to accurately understand the minutiae of a specific operations. Compared to a human-led process, Mo turns a task that used to take hours or days of manual analysis into an answer in minutes. Compared to a Claude Opus, Mo delivers more accurate answers, with lower latency and more consistent results. In internal testing, Mo answered operational questions using a customer's own real-time data in about 2.5 minutes, versus roughly 18 minutes for a Claude Opus after manually exporting data, filtering rows, and building context by hand. On accuracy, Claude OpusFS answers were wrong or overstated on most claims tested, including a late-rate calculation off by nearly 18 points and a claim that 40% of shipments were untracked when the actual figure was 0.8%. Mo needed none of the manual setup and returned accurate answers consistently. That grounding is what makes Mo reason rather than retrieve: it builds context over time from a customer's shipment history, weighs multiple variables instead of returning a single number, and signals when its confidence is low instead of guessing. The result is a reasoning architecture, not a chatbot wrapper, that's materially more accurate than Claude Opus, and one that puts supply chain insight in reach of a customer's whole team, not just their power users. project44 customers are already realizing measurable value from the data and context Mo is built on. In detention and demurrage alone individual enterprise customers are seeing results like a $6 million reduction in D&D exposure. In working capital, individual customers have found they can free up, $200K with a single question to Mo. In disruption management, faster access to the right signal has helped customers avoid costs tied to exceptions and delays, with results like $600K $1.8 million in savings tied to a single initiative. Mo scales this impact across every customer and every question, turning what used to take a dedicated analysis into something any team member can act on directly. At launch, Mo can query into Truckload (FTL), Less-than-Truckload (LTL), and Ocean Freight data with additional functionality being added through the rest of 2026. Mo is also a step toward a broader vision at project44: giving customers the inputs to build their own models on top of project44's semantics and context, what Project44 call sovereign models. Rather than relying on a single, one-size-fits-all AI, customers will be able to shape models grounded in their own data and business rules, with project44's data graph as the foundation. Mo is already delivering on its early promise. Ford, one of Mo's early access customers, has been using it to get answers faster, without waiting for reports or analysis from other teams first. "Supply chain decisions move fast, and the teams making them need answers that are just as fast. Mo will help us get there, putting accurate, data-grounded answers directly in the hands of the people who need them, without the back-and-forth of pulling reports or waiting on analysis," said Doug Cantriel, Head of North America Transportation at Ford Motor Company. About project44. project44 is the Decision Intelligence Platform for the modern supply chain. Project44 splits into two businesses, launches profitable AI-native LSP44 for logistics providers

Project44 has split into two separate businesses to better serve distinct customer segments in the logistics technology market. The original company will continue serving enterprise shippers with decision intelligence, TMS, and visibility solutions. Meanwhile, LSP44 launches as a dedicated, profitable business focused on logistics service providers. CEO Jett McCandless says the split recognises that shippers and LSPs buy fundamentally different technologies. LSP44 leverages project44's decade-long infrastructure, including 280,000 carriers and 1.5 billion shipments processed, to offer AI agents with operational context. The platform claims 18% cost reductions in carrier procurement and 60% fewer shipment tracking calls. Project44 has reduced headcount from 1,200 to 582 employees through AI adoption. LSP44 launches with immediate profitability, distinguishing it from venture-funded competitors.
