  • 3+ years of experience in direct software sales, including selling enterprise software platforms to large organisations in Italy.
  • Successful track record of selling complex software solutions, consistently exceeding quota
  • Demonstrated ability to generate demand and create substantial business value
  • Ability to build executive-level relationships and develop new business
  • Strong understanding of data analytics, AI, and cloud technologies
  • Strong understanding of consumption-based sales models
  • Experience driving successful adoption of usage-based subscription services (SaaS) and co-selling with AWS, Azure and Google Cloud teams
  • Methods for co-developing business cases and gaining support from C-level Executives
  • Experience developing partnerships with "champions" and client teams to support execution of your territory plan
  • Experience developing a clear partner strategy and implement it to achieve success
  • Familiar with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC, Challenger, Command of the Message, and account/territory planning
  • Fluent in Italian and business-level English
Responsibilities
  • You will provide the industry insight and business creativity required to design and develop unique use cases and solutions that differentiate Databricks.
  • You will co-develop a business plan, with your team and ecosystem partners, that accelerates existing customer success, identifies and acquires new opportunity and enables you to exceed quarterly/annual usage and booking goals
  • You will motivate a diverse team of big data and AI professionals to implement your business plan
  • You will lead your team, customers, and partners to identify impactful big data and AI use cases whilst proving their value on the Databricks Data Intelligence Platform
  • You will support the broader big data and AI transformation goals of your customers through a combination of strategic partnerships, well-scoped professional services, training, and targeted Executive engagement
  • You will build exceptional value with all engagements to guide successful negotiations to close

Persistent expects the solution to deliver a 20–40% reduction in fraud losses, 30–60% improvement in detection accuracy and 50–70% reduction in manual review effort. Databricks CTO wins computing award, says 'AGI is here already

DBOS partners with Databricks to boost agentic AI reliability and observability

DBOS, Inc. has announced a technology partnership with Databricks to enhance the reliability and observability of agentic AI workflows. The collaboration integrates DBOS's open-source durable execution platform with Databricks and Lakebase, Databricks' serverless Postgres database designed for AI agents. London AI security startup Trent AI raises $13M to protect AI agents from cyber threats

Trent AI, a London-based AI security startup, has launched with $13 million in seed funding led by LocalGlobe and Cambridge Innovation Capital. Executives from Databricks and Stripe also participated. Founded by former Amazon Web Services engineers Eno Thereska, Neil Lawrence and Zhenwen Dai, Trent AI has developed a platform that uses AI agents to identify cybersecurity issues in AI agents and their generated code. The platform employs four groups of agents that find exploits, rank vulnerabilities by severity, generate remediation suggestions, and track security changes over time. The platform can simulate complex attack paths and provides tool-specific features for OpenClaw and Lovable. Trent AI claims its technology outperforms traditional cybersecurity products designed for conventional software. The company will use the funding to expand its customer base and engineering team.
