Requirements
  • Experience in the architectural and design industry

  • Systems: Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Google Docs, Sheets, Slides; Concur and Salesforce experience preferred
  • Travel Requirements: 80% local travel by car to customers; Remaining 20% to trade shows, associations and trips to Minnesota for training; Must have ability to work extended hours, including evenings and overnights, and to travel over weekends
  • Must hold a valid Driver’s License from state of residence
  • Must be able to successfully pass a Motor Vehicle Record check
  • Physical Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds of quartz samples; Must be able to drive for a long period of time

Responsibilities
  • Sell Cambria by coaching, supervising and leading Market Representatives in their local, assigned sales regions, and Showroom/Gallery personnel in their assigned space
  • Effectively manage 1-3 direct reports, clearly defining priorities and expectations
  • Develop and challenge employees to be high performing
  • Establish a sales-driven culture by setting clear and measurable sales goals
  • Provide daily or weekly feedback to the employee to optimize their performance
  • Complete performance reviews and manage any performance issues that arise
  • Use Salesforce as a tool to observe and manage employee activity
  • Ensure market development to maximize sales within the region
  • Develop quarterly and annual territory sales plan
  • Oversee development of such plans by assigned direct reports for their markets or locations
  • Be available to meet with direct reports and customers over meals or at events
  • Provide ongoing training and education to existing Market Representatives and Showroom/Gallery personnel to guide their sales approaches
  • Riding with Market Representatives 2-3 days per week in their territories and spending 1-2 days per week in the assigned Showroom/Galleries
  • Provide initial intensive in-market training and education to new Market Representatives
  • Sell Cambria by building and cultivating solid relationships
  • Grow business partner relationships throughout the territory for both residential and commercial accounts
  • Hold business partners accountable for their Sales and sales-driving activities in the Region
  • Engage with partners regularly to optimize these things
  • Visit partners at their businesses, with or without Market Representatives, daily
  • Maintain a high level of business, financial and industry expertise to advise partners effectively
  • Work closely and collaborate with leadership team at Cambria-Owned Distribution Centers and FabShops, spending 1-2 days per week at assigned office
  • Maintain professional contact with key partners, industry associations, retailers for sales and recruiting purposes
  • Be an expert in industry standards and regulatory codes for residential and commercial areas
  • Active use of all social media channels Cambria participates in to promote the brand and product
  • Sell Cambria by being a source of information and industry knowledge delivering critical information to and from the field regions
  • Collaborate with marketing team to create market intelligence and support materials
  • Calibrate and collaborate with department leadership on initiatives and tools to build and grow business in territories
  • Communicate relevant information from other areas of the company to Market Reps
  • Other Duties as Assigned
  • Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations
  • Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct unsafe actions or conditions
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree strongly preferred
  • Salesforce experience preferred
  • Experience with road show events and trade shows in architecture/design industry preferred
  • Experience managing and training Showroom/Gallery personnel preferred
  • Proficiency in Concur and Google Suite preferred
