Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Experience with large data sets and programming languages
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Basic knowledge of Exchange and OTC trading and market making concepts
- Outstanding organizational skills and strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work and succeed independently, as well as in a team environment
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
Responsibilities
- Work with the compliance team to build the compliance infrastructure around new trading strategies
- Assist with the draft and maintenance of the Firm's Written Supervisory Procedures
- Manage external compliance resources, such as FINRA's Central Registration Depository (CRD)
- Assist in the execution of daily and routine surveillance reviews involving the Firm's options, futures, and equity trading activity and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with trading and development to ensure the Firm's compliance report suite is current and accurate
- Support the review of existing compliance practices against regulatory requirements and industry best practices
Desired Qualifications
- Completion of the Securities Industry Exam (SIE)
- Success in math and finance classes
- Prior internship(s) within the industry
- Relevant experience with Python/SQL
