Requirements
  • 2 or more years in Controls Engineering.
  • Experience in multiple PLC platforms is preferred (Allen Bradley, Siemens, Omron, Beckhoff, Keyence) but not required.
  • Experience in the design and implementation of Human Machine Interfaces (HMIs).
  • Well versed in reading electrical prints with respect to troubleshooting and commissioning electrical controls systems.
  • Experience with multiple robotic manufacturers is preferred (ABB, Fanuc, Kawasaki, Kuka, Nachi) but not required.
  • Ability to troubleshoot control system wiring, safety circuitry, and PLC/robot code.
  • Ability to work Monday – Friday with flexibility to work occasional evening and weekend hours while in the field.
  • Willingness to travel upwards of 60%.
  • Customer service and communication skills.
  • Valid drivers license.
Responsibilities
  • Preparation, installation, commissioning, debugging, and customer run-off events for the custom manufacturing equipment.
  • Field service calls, contractually required machine maintenance, updating customer machinery, and troubleshooting existing equipment for customers.
  • Liaise with Axis Controls Engineers, Project Managers, and customer points of contact.
  • Assist with the debugging and commissioning of equipment as well as being involved with customer runoff events at the Axis Automation facility.
