Requirements
  • At least 3 years of retail cashier or retail supervisory experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and education.

Responsibilities
  • Perform routine cleaning and maintenance activities to uphold the store’s appearance and hygiene standards.
  • Sweep, mop, and operate a floor scrubber regularly to maintain clean and safe surfaces.
  • Empty trash receptacles and replace garbage bags.
  • Clean and disinfect restrooms and breakrooms and keep them stocked with essential supplies.
  • Wipe down counters, display shelves, fixtures, and other surfaces.
  • Conduct basic repairs and maintenance, including changing light bulbs, fixing minor plumbing issues, and repairing damaged fixtures.
  • Monitor and report safety hazards, malfunctioning equipment, and maintenance needs to the appropriate supervisor.
  • Assist with unloading trucks, stocking, and zoning merchandise when time allows.
  • Manage parking lot cleanliness and remove exterior trash.
  • Operate a floor scrubber proficiently.
  • Participate in cross-training for flexibility across departments and responsibilities.
  • Participate in training programs, workshops, and webinars to acquire knowledge and refine skills.
  • Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support and respond to inquiries, concerns, and issues.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Company President Alex Melvin said the campus will be located north of Illinois 16 and west of Interstate 57 in the area of the interchange. It will include the company's headquarters, a flagship store and a separate events center that will seat up to 1,500. The tenth annual Tour de Charleston is set to offer bicycle races for all ages and other festivities on Saturday, June 13.
