Requirements
  • Master's degree in educational technology, instructional design, adult learning, or equivalent is in progress or required.
Responsibilities
  • Applies Bloom’s Taxonomy to classify the complexity of course learning objectives for existing education products.
  • Identifies primary target audiences and job roles for existing education products.
  • Suggests possible learning paths or groupings of existing education products for credentialing opportunities.
  • Applies adult learning and instructional design theories, practices, and methods to support effective learning experiences.
  • Utilizes various authoring tools, learning management systems and AI resources to support high quality, current, learning content.
  • Utilizes assessment tools to measure the effectiveness of training programs and make data-driven improvements.
  • Supports effective product design and development by solving/resolving stakeholder and content problems in a timely manner, with the ability to recognize systematic issues which require further redesign or development.
  • Supports efforts of the Production Coordinator regarding authorization for use of external materials as needed including technical subject matter graphics, translations and other value-added items as appropriate to ensure all necessary items are in place for product development.
  • Participates/monitors pilot deployment of courses and conducts evaluation to validate that courses meet the defined learning objectives and learning outcomes.
  • Supports product development, including design, development, quality assurance, publishing, and maintenance of new or existing education products for CSA customers across various industry sectors and occupations.
  • Engages the learner through suitable activities and delivers on learning outcomes.
  • Uses problem solving skills to work with Educational Designers and subject matter experts to deliver high-quality learning products that meet the needs of the learner.
  • Provides support to end users by promptly resolving issues related to learning product design.
  • Manages resources and content for multiple projects simultaneously to ensure timely delivery and adherence to quality standards
Desired Qualifications
  • Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in educational technology, instructional design, adult learning, or equivalent
  • Knowledge in conducting needs assessment and job task analysis
  • Knowledge in developing adult learning coursework
  • Competency with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel; Adobe Cloud software; Articulate 360
  • Research and analytical skills
  • High degree of self-motivation
  • Strong organizational and planning skills
  • Strong oral and written communication, facilitation and interpersonal skills
  • Fluency in French is a requirement
  • English proficiency is a requirement to accommodate our clients outside of Quebec

CSA opens lab to test medical-grade PPE

TORONTO – CSA Group has announced the opening of an accredited, special-purpose laboratory dedicated to testing and certifying the safety of medical-grade PPE. Until now, there have been no domestic providers of testing and certification services for medical-grade PPE.
