Requirements
  • Proven hands-on experience delivering fraud technology programs.
  • 7–12+ years of fraud technology delivery experience, including at least 3 years leading complex fraud technology delivery workstreams or programs
  • Bilingual (French and English) skills required. This is a national role requiring fluency in both languages and/or the role involves regular interaction with both French- and English-speaking clients.
  • Deep knowledge of banking fraud.
  • Experience contributing to business development and engagement management through credible delivery shaping, staffing assumptions, risk identification and execution plans.
  • Execution-first delivery leader who can bridge architecture, engineering, testing, business operations and executive expectations without losing ownership of the plan.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the confidence to challenge, escalate, simplify, align and secure decisions when delivery is at risk.
  • Ability to bridge business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, vendors and executive stakeholders while keeping delivery outcomes at the centre.
  • Experience owning end-to-end delivery across design, build, test, integration, data, release, cutover, go-live and hypercare.
Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end delivery of fraud technology workstreams, with direct accountability for execution outcomes, milestone discipline, risks, dependencies, quality, and production readiness.
  • Drive execution across fraud platform initiatives including lending, deposits, origination, servicing, payments, cards, digital banking, integration, data migration, testing automation, vendor delivery, and production implementation.
  • Orchestrate product, engineering, architecture, testing, data, operations, vendor and client teams — and actively hold them to committed deliverables, decision dates, defect closure, readiness criteria, and release outcomes.
  • Identify and resolve delivery blockers across functional, technical, integration, data, testing, vendor and operational readiness dimensions, with clear options and decision paths.
  • Run delivery cadences with intensity: daily execution huddles, sprint/release planning, dependency reviews, RAID management, defect triage, go/no-go readiness, executive escalation and recovery planning.
  • Translate ambiguous client direction into executable delivery plans, sequencing, ownership, decision points, deliverables and measurable progress.
  • Operate at the detail level when required by reviewing plans, understanding integration dependencies, challenging estimates, validating status and ensuring delivery progress is evidence-based.
  • Demonstrate a track record of delivering at least one complex fraud production implementation, modernization, migration, integration, or major release under tight timelines and executive visibility.
  • Apply enough architecture, integration and data understanding to challenge whether solution designs are executable, testable, operable and aligned to delivery timelines.
  • Ensure solution decisions are not only architecturally sound, but delivery-ready: sequenced, dependency-managed, testable, supportable and implementable in a controlled banking environment.
  • Drive architecture and design reviews toward decisions, trade-offs and delivery actions — not prolonged debate or theoretical alignment.
  • Partner with architects, engineers and business owners to turn target-state direction into delivery slices, MVP scope, interim states, migration paths, release plans and operational transition plans.
  • Understand practical delivery implications of APIs, batch/file integrations, data migration, test data, environments, identity/access, operational controls, resiliency, reconciliation and regulatory expectations in banking.
  • Act as a trusted delivery lead to client executives and program leaders by translating business priorities into executable technology outcomes and making execution risks visible early.
  • Lead decision-oriented working sessions that force clarity on scope, ownership, dependencies, trade-offs, readiness gaps and next actions.
  • Build credibility with business, technology, operations, vendor and executive stakeholders by being direct, fact-based, delivery-oriented and consistently reliable under pressure.
  • Communicate progress, blockers, risks, recommendations and recovery actions with clarity, using evidence-based status reporting and practical next steps.
  • Constructively challenge unrealistic timelines, unclear scope, weak ownership, untested assumptions and vendor commitments that create go-live risk.
  • Maintain the confidence of senior stakeholders while still being hands-on enough to know whether the work is truly moving.
  • Support proposals, RFP responses and solution design with credible delivery assumptions, staffing models, risks, dependencies, implementation paths and go-live considerations.
  • Contribute to Fraud Technology offerings by codifying practical delivery playbooks, reusable plans, readiness checklists, risk patterns, cutover approaches, testing approaches and lessons learned from real banking implementations.
  • Bring practical insight on what works in fraud technology delivery, including vendor-led implementation, agile-at-scale, systems integration, data migration, testing automation, production readiness and operational stabilization.
  • Lead onshore, nearshore, offshore, client and vendor team members with clear expectations, outcome ownership and timely intervention when delivery is at risk.
  • Create a high-accountability delivery culture where teams surface issues early, solve problems directly and focus on measurable progress.
  • Raise the bar for fraud consulting delivery capability by coaching teams on execution discipline, release readiness, client communication, defect management, dependency management and delivery leadership under pressure.
  • Be comfortable stepping into unstructured situations, creating clarity quickly and becoming a trusted delivery lead for senior stakeholders.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with Agile delivery, DevOps, release management and modern delivery models in environments where agile ceremonies are tied to actual delivery outcomes.
  • Experience in large-scale fraud transformation programs with multiple vendors, system integrators, internal technology teams, business owners, risk/compliance stakeholders and production readiness gates.

EY deploys agentic AI across global audit practice with 2028 full rollout target

EY has deployed enterprise-scale agentic AI across its global assurance practice, integrating a multi-agent AI framework into EY Canvas, its audit technology platform. The system, built on Microsoft Azure, Microsoft Foundry and Microsoft Fabric, aims to help audit teams coordinate complex tasks and respond to risks more adaptively. The rollout follows extensive piloting and testing, with AI now embedded across all audit stages for engagements worldwide. EY expects the technology to underpin all end-to-end audit activities by 2028. The company says the platform will reduce administrative burdens on clients whilst enhancing risk evaluation and maintaining professional judgement. EY Global chair Janet Truncale described it as a "human-led, AI-powered audit of the future" designed to deliver greater value and insight for clients and stakeholders.

EY launches blockchain privacy sandbox to test zero-knowledge proof smart contracts

EY has launched the EY Blockchain Privacy Sandbox, a web-based development environment enabling organisations to experiment with privacy-preserving smart contracts on public Ethereum Virtual Machine-compatible blockchains. The sandbox uses Starlight, an open-source zero-knowledge proof compiler originally developed by EY and now in the public domain. The platform allows developers to transform standard Solidity smart contracts into privacy-preserving applications without requiring local setup, lowering technical barriers to zero-knowledge technology adoption. It includes sample projects that can be explored and modified to accelerate proof-of-concept development. Grand View Research projects the global zero-knowledge proof market will reach approximately $7.6 billion by 2033. The sandbox is designed for experimentation and validation, helping businesses assess feasibility before broader enterprise integration. The platform is now available via request.

Unilever and UK government back Kenya-India waste tech partnership to automate recycling

Kenyan waste management enterprise TakaTaka Ni Mali and India-based TrashCon have partnered to modernise Kenya's circular economy infrastructure through decentralised waste segregation technology. The collaboration was facilitated by TRANSFORM, an impact accelerator led by Unilever, the UK Government's FCDO, and EY. The partnership addresses implementation challenges of Kenya's Sustainable Waste Management Act (2022), which requires household waste separation. TrashCon's TrashBot technology automatically separates wet organic material from dry recyclables, creating safer conditions for waste workers whilst improving recovery rates. Urban waste collection in Kenya currently reaches only 20-30%. TakaTaka Ni Mali will serve as local reseller for TrashBot, supporting installation and maintenance whilst deploying its Ecomali digital traceability platform. The first TrashBot model will be showcased at Kenya International Investment Conference from 25-27 March, with two additional machines planned.
