We are seeking a transformational CMO (Chief Marketing Officer) to join our dynamic, growing business to support our next stage of growth, drive performance – focused marketing and expand and build our brand as a leader in the digital learning market.

Want to know just some of the ways you will make an impact?
- You will be leading all brand, corporate and product messaging, PR/AR, web marketing, customer marketing, corporate events, demand marketing, alliance marketing, competitive/market intelligence, solutions marketing, business strategy and planning
- Be the key spokesperson for the company with customers, press, analysts, partners and investors
- Optimize go-to-market strategies and resources to help D2L rapidly open new geographies and industries and grow market share – both domestically and internationally
- Partner closely with the Sales and Product organizations on demand generation and funnel-to-close approaches and execution, and be accountable for overall effectiveness of demand marketing programs for the company. Nurture opportunities to help prospects realize a need to transform their learning experiences to selecting D2L, and then building a long-term and productive relationship with the company
- Build and lead a world-class integrated marketing organization by hiring, developing and retaining top talent; shape a collaborative, transparent and entrepreneurial culture
- Implement effective measurement tools to track KPIs across the marketing function, mapping successes and areas of needed improvement. Continuously assess and glean insights around marketing effectiveness, using analytics to adapt, learn and support fast growth
What we are looking for from our next CMO:
You will have a strong foundation in product marketing in the enterprise space with a proven record of strong partnership with field sales organizations. Additional to this some of the competencies we are looking for are:
- The ability to create and articulate an inspiring vision for the organization, not only for the areas s/he is directly responsible for, but the enterprise as a whole.
- An entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
