Requirements
  • Bachelor-level or Master-level student. You must currently be enrolled as a full-time university student at the time of applying, or you are in France on Autorisation Provisoire de Séjour (APS).
  • No more than 2 years of work experience
  • Basic analytical skills to interpret data and trends
  • Basic skills in Excel
  • Proficient in English
Responsibilities
  • Support the category leader, manager and category buyers in day to day merchandising activities such as assortment planning, product selection, and inventory management.
  • Assist in vendor communication, negotiation, and relationship management to ensure timely delivery of products and adherence to quality standards.
  • Conduct market research, competitor analysis, and consumer trend analysis to identify emerging opportunities and threats in assigned product categories.
  • Maintain accurate product data, pricing information, and inventory records in the merchandising system to facilitate effective decision-making and reporting.
  • Help identify and correct errors in product descriptions, visuals or data.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to execute promotional campaigns, product launches.
  • Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and analysis for category reviews, business meetings, and executive updates.
Desired Qualifications
  • Relevant experience in retail, merchandising, or buying (through an internship or otherwise) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with e-commerce platforms and online shopping trends is a plus.
  • Quick Learning Ability: The ability to quickly acquire new knowledge and adapt to the dynamic cross-border e-commerce industry.
  • Achievement Drive: A strong sense of goal orientation and initiative to drive business growth.
  • Data Analysis Proficiency: the ability to interpret market and consumer behavior data to optimise procurement and marketing strategies.
  • Cross-Cultural Communication: Familiarity with different regional markets and the ability to communicate effectively with international suppliers or customers.
