Requirements
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 2 years of recent experience as an HVAC/R field technician.
  • May require a Journeyman's License in some states and state-specific licenses.
  • EPA certification and a valid driver's license.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and work plans.
  • Basic comfort with mobile applications and technology.
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or holidays when needed.
  • Ability to safely work at heights using ladders up to 28–32 feet and operate equipment within manufacturer weight limits.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and maneuver tools and equipment, including extension ladders, up to 100 pounds.
  • Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach into confined spaces, and perform twisting, pushing, and pulling tasks.
  • Physical stamina and endurance for repetitive tasks and extended activity.
  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, and climb ladders throughout the day.
  • Ability to use vision, hearing, and verbal communication continuously.
  • Ability to operate work-related equipment such as iPads, cell phones, and computers.
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Ability to occasionally work in an office environment.
  • Ability to follow all applicable safety procedures.
Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair HVAC/R systems, including electrical, mechanical, and electronic components.
  • Perform maintenance and emergency service as needed, including after-hours on-call rotations.
  • Accurately document all service details using company-provided iPads.
  • Maintain the company vehicle, tools, and parts inventory.
  • Communicate with customers and dispatch to ensure smooth scheduling and service delivery.
  • Identify additional service opportunities and share them with customers.
