Requirements
  • Possess a demonstrated ability to execute on product creation and growth strategies
  • Come from a technical background or have a strong grasp of engineering concepts & software development processes
  • Have keen product sense, but are also exceptional in design thinking and execution: developing a clear, first principles understanding of the problem to solve, effective in identifying and validating potential solutions, and efficient in communicating the requirements to the engineering team
  • Have a unique ability to define the product vision, build and execute the product roadmap, prioritize features, and execute end to end; build to launch to landing
  • Have exceptional communication (both verbal & written) and people skills, especially with remote engineering teams and senior stakeholders
  • Possess terrific prioritization skills - you get to the crux of the problem/value, make hard but meaningful trade-offs, and articulate them clearly
  • Desire to put our learners first, and are the biggest advocate for our learners in any meeting
  • Showcase outstanding time management skills to deliver cross-functional projects on time while managing competing priorities
  • Are curious, have an “always be learning” mindset, and are fascinated by data, research, and user behavior
  • Are able to blend data and analytics with empathy and user voice while designing user experiences
  • Have deep experience designing, executing, and driving decisions from A/B tests
Responsibilities
  • Define, lead, and execute the growth product roadmap and strategy to help corner TOFU traffic scalably and sustainably
  • Build features to support growth across the board - this could be implementing new acquisition channels (like scaled SEO pages), building features to increase the efficiency of Sales and UA teams, ownership of the payment flow, etc
  • Be a player-coach - this will initially be an individual contributor role, with potential to have direct reports (within 6-12 months)
  • Set annual and quarterly goals for yourself and track deliverables and outcomes
  • Drive alignment across product team members, cross-functional stakeholders, and senior leadership
  • Take features from ideation and prioritization, to definition and build, to launch, measure, and iterate
  • Conduct user and market research, identify features to improve your product, and develop a clear understanding of users' needs through user-centered design
  • Follow through on your features: define, monitor, and report on feature metrics, and recommend iterations or improvements
Desired Qualifications
  • Have 4+ years of experience as a Product Manager building and launching online products that produce real outcomes (leadership experience is a bonus)
