Requirements
  • A PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Healthcare, or a related field and 2+ years of Medical Data Analytics, Commercial Data Analytics, Primary Market Research, Performance Reporting, or related experience; or a Master's degree in one of those fields and 5+ years of relevant experience; or a Bachelor's degree in one of those fields and 7+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience conducting or overseeing analysis of structured and unstructured data sources, including healthcare professional sentiment, scientific engagement, publications, and real-world data.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of advanced analytical solutions across Global Medical Affairs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of analysts and visualization experts, fostering skill development, collaboration, and innovation.
  • Conduct and oversee data analysis of structured and unstructured sources, including healthcare professional sentiment, scientific engagement, publications, and real-world data.
  • Translate complex analytics into clear, data-driven recommendations that inform Medical Science Liaison strategies and enhance patient outcomes.
  • Design and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations using Python, R, SQL, Tableau, and Power BI.
  • Deliver ad hoc analyses that distill complex medical data into concise, stakeholder-ready insights.
  • Guide the development of KPIs to track performance and align with medical and business objectives.
  • Oversee data quality and access, collaborating with IT, data engineering, and external partners on governance and platform integration.
  • Drive standardization and scalability through reusable code components, templates, and analytical frameworks.
  • Participate in agile workflows, including sprint planning and iterative delivery of prioritized analytics solutions.

Amgen to open new science and innovation centre in Hyderabad's Genome Valley

Amgen announced plans to open a new Science and Innovation Center in Genome Valley, Hyderabad, expected to be operational in 2027. The facility will join Amgen's global Research and Development network of seven research laboratories, expanding the company's scientific capabilities. The center will bring together scientists and technologists across discovery chemistry, drug metabolism and pharmacokinetics, and precision medicine. It will integrate experimental science with data and digital innovation to accelerate the discovery and development of medicines. "The new center in Genome Valley expands the way we integrate experimental science with data and technology across our global research capabilities," said Jay Bradner, executive vice president of Research and Development, Artificial Intelligence and Data at Amgen. The facility will complement Amgen's existing technology and innovation site in Hyderabad.

Amgen fair value rises to $372 after Q2 beat sparks analyst target hikes to $450

Amgen beats Q2 forecast with $10.05B revenue, raises 2026 outlook despite obesity drug setback

The stock trades at $406.17, approximately 14.75% above its estimated fair value.
