Job Description
The Recruiter is responsible for fueling company growth by recruiting top industry talent and screening for technical and cultural fit. This individual will help CRB continue to build one of the most diverse and extraordinary interdisciplinary teams in the world. This role plays an integral part of developing and maintaining CRB’s culture and staff. This position will work with hiring managers to fill company needs through screening and selecting qualified personnel amongst a wide pool of potential applicants and networks. The Recruiter will schedule and facilitate interviews for the hiring managers and coordinate with local HR resources, as appropriate.
This hybrid role can be based near our office in Kansas City or St. Louis
Recruiting Strategy & Collaboration
- Align recruiting efforts with broader corporate goals.
- Partner with Senior Recruiters, HR, and Regional Management to identify and source talent.
- Work with Regional HR Business Partners and the greater HR organization
Candidate Sourcing & Outreach
- Source candidates via personal networks, social media, industry events, and career fairs.
- Post job openings on relevant platforms.
- Build and maintain strong candidate relationships.
Screening & Interviewing
- Conduct phone screens and interviews promptly.
- Assess candidates’ qualifications, experience, and soft skills.
- Coordinate interviews and perform reference checks.
Systems & Reporting
- Monitor job requisitions and approval workflows in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
- Keep recruiting database updated.
Communication & Process Management
- Ensure timely and professional communication with candidates and hiring managers.
- Track resumes and applications.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor degree in related field or equivalent years of experience
- 2-5 years of experience as a full-cycle Recruiter in either a corporate or agency environment
- Architecture, Engineering, Construction (A/E/C), life science, or industrial manufacturing experience highly preferred
- Proven success identifying, hiring, and retaining qualified personnel
- Solid interviewing skills under a variety of circumstances (structured, competency-based, stress, etc.)
- Hands-on experience with various selection processes (phone interviewing, reference checks, etc.)
- Familiarity with databases and applicant tracking systems
- Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong decision-making and judgement skills
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
