Requirements
- Related experience in property management as a Maintenance Supervisor is required.
- Experience in all trades is required.
- Strong written communication and computer skills are required.
- Past supervisory experience is required.
- A current driver's license and auto insurance are required.
- Availability to work weekends and overtime as required.
- Successful completion of a background screen and drug test is required.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate employee activities and outside contractors engaged in maintaining and repairing building structures and grounds.
- Direct employees and outside contractors in apartment renovations, service requests, structural repairs, and ground maintenance.
- Obtain bids for outside contractor work, analyze them, and submit them to superiors for action.
- Order and receive supplies, appliances, and equipment from vendors.
- Coordinate outside vendor work and inspect completed work for compliance with specifications and standards.
- Inspect facilities and equipment to determine service needs, required equipment, and service type.
- Study production schedules and estimate worker-hour requirements for job assignments.
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production schedules.
- Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment use to increase work-crew efficiency.
- Assist the Property Manager in planning and administering the maintenance budget.
- Participate in after-hours and emergency coverage as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
- Yardi experience is preferred.
