BBH launches Braid, AI-native data transformation platform for financial services

Brown Brothers Harriman has launched Braid LLC, a technology affiliate offering an AI-native data transformation platform for financial services firms. The platform enables business users to describe their data needs in natural language, which AI agents then use to build auditable data transformations. Braid aims to address enterprise data transformation challenges by allowing teams to automate processes in hours rather than months. The platform features centralised oversight, transparent exception management, and enterprise-grade controls designed for regulated environments. In a 2025 pilot with BBH Investor Services, Braid achieved up to 98% efficiency gains across three use cases, including converting data into standard formats and automating trade instruction ingestion. The solution builds on BBH's 25 years of expertise in financial data connectivity and messaging.
