Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business or related field, or equivalent combination of education/experience.
  • Project Management certification (PMP, Prince2 or CAPM)
  • Significant previous experience within an IT focused role.
  • 5+ years’ experience managing or influencing technical staff and projects.
  • Customer focused and is driven to achieve business value relevant outcomes.
  • Works effectively and collaborate with purpose with a wide variety of people.
  • Organised and able to plan effectively.
  • Manages multiple competing demands on time.
  • Drives results & is motivated to improve.
  • Other Technology Use: VMWare, SCADA systems, CISCO, Networking, Security Tools, Windows, Linux.
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple projects or workstreams that deliver security improvements for edge technology at Service Centers globally.
  • Develop project scope and objectives, the identification & evaluation of options for project delivery and the preparation of project documentations and plans.
  • Ensure that IT requirements are defined, delivered, and monitored.
  • Lead the governance activities for various application programs and ensure scope is accurately documented and approved by various stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage programs and projects with an understanding of the organizational strategic and security requirements, technology context and business needs.
  • Manage Plant Security Program patching per agreed timelines.
  • Direct the activities of the project team, coordinate and drive the team’s efforts towards successful delivery of assigned projects.
  • Lead the weekly status meetings and provide overall program status regularly to leadership.
  • Responsible for overall scheduling downtime windows at scale on a weekly basis, need to be comfortable with day-to-day coordination & scheduling activities.
  • Interact with wide range of stakeholders (40 + countries) and build relationships with Operations team.
  • Develop, present, and manage program metrics to continuously measure and improve the delivery of program.
  • Understand business and edge technology management processes and demonstrate advanced understanding of business processes, internal control risk management, IT controls and related standards.
  • Identify and act on opportunities to improve engagement with the business units.
  • Ensure quality control procedures are used correctly.
  • Develop schedules and work packages for the IT & application delivery teams.
  • Monitor and adjust activities, resources, and plans.
  • Initiate and influence key stakeholder relationships.
  • Influence organisation, customers, suppliers, partners, and peers on the contribution of own specialism.
  • Build appropriate and effective business relationships.
  • Make decisions which impact the success of assigned projects i.e., results, deadlines, and budget.
  • Perform an extensive range and variety of complex technical and/or professional work activities.
  • Undertake work which requires the application of fundamental principles in a wide and often unpredictable range of contexts.
  • Advise on the available standards, methods, tools, and applications relevant to own specialism and can make appropriate choices from alternatives.
  • Analyse, design, plan, execute, and evaluate work to time, cost, and quality targets.
  • Facilitate collaboration between stakeholders who have diverse objectives.
  • Understand the relevance of own area of responsibility/specialism to the employing organisation.
  • Take business requirements into account when making proposals.
  • Analyse requirements and advise on scope and options for continuous operational improvement.
  • Demonstrate creativity and innovation in applying solutions for the benefit of the customer/stakeholder.
