  • Evaluate current learning programs and identify a strategic roadmap for achieving future goals
  • Conduct a needs analysis and supply a learning strategy to support digital learning transformation
  • Support the client in identifying performance gaps and align learning interventions to business goals and provide recommendations to optimize learning outcomes
  • Focus on integrating learning strategy into all appropriate courseware projects to assist in defining the vision, needs, and learner profiles to then guide the instructional design and development approaches
  • Use learner experience design methodology to help clients identify learner personas and develop learner journey maps to inform program design and development
  • Help clients develop credentialing, micro-credentialing, competency-based education, and skills strategies to evaluate and track learner success and progression
  • Support customers in developing ongoing engagement strategies such as Communities of Practice
  • Provide strategies for collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data about learning programs
  • Use UX design and design thinking principles to empathize with customers and learners and support courseware team in building with empathy
  • Build rapport with customers and prospects and support sales and go-to-market activities, as required
  • Liaise effectively with high level client stakeholders and decision makers to provide advisory services that support client needs while identifying online learning insights, challenges, methods, approaches and interpretations
  • Support and document methods, practices, whitepapers, and references around the value and approaches of e-learning
  • Work closely with instructional designers, account managers, project managers and client stakeholders to help clients define solutions
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge on current practices and emerging trends in instructional technology, educational policy, assessment of learning effectiveness, and blended and online learning
  • Maintains an up-to-date knowledge of professional education organization standards and national and state/provincial policies affecting e-learning
  • Minimum 8+ years' experience in learning and development roles with a focus on online learning and leading digital learning transformations
  • Significant experience in client-facing role and/or in a consulting capacity
  • Significant learning industry knowledge and experience in corporate and higher education; familiar with industry thought leadership and emerging trends
  • Strong online learning experience and knowledge from past work experience
  • Ability to deliver quality, professional presentations, workshops, and individual consultations in-person, by web conference, and by conference call that are properly aligned to the client's industry
  • Comfortable working independently and solving problems
  • Comfortable working with minimum guidance and direction
  • Comfortable with uncertainty
  • Ability to manage workload and administrative duties while working inside the office or at a remote location
  • Direct work with strategic planning, change management, and organizational readiness
  • Relevant experience in education technology
  • Experience with business drivers for educators, trainers, students and executives
  • Knowledge and experience working in a consulting capacity
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships at the executive level

  • Experience within a fast paced, growth organization is ideal
  • Experience building go to market offerings
  • Master's Degree or Doctorate preferred with experience in the corporate learning vertical (teaching, course design, program and project management)
