- Security+ and Cisco Certified Network Associate certifications are required.
- Experience installing, configuring, troubleshooting, upgrading, patching, and hardening routers, serial consoles, load balancers, and switches is required.
- Extensive experience with enterprise-level network architectures and configurations is required.
- Ability to assess infrastructure, identify areas for improvement, and recommend solutions is required.
- Experience with network monitoring and management using an automated solution is required.
- Extensive experience with security as it pertains to network architecture, desktops, laptops, servers, firewalls, routers, and intrusion detection systems is required.
- Solid customer service and communication skills, including the ability and willingness to communicate effectively and appropriately in an empathetic and understanding manner, are required.
- U.S. citizenship and a current Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information access are required.
- Analyze and simulate network traffic to aid in problem resolution or test updated configurations in virtual or physical lab environments.
- Monitor system utilization and circuit bandwidth and report anomalies to Government team leads.
- Develop, execute, modify, or remove scripts to assist in task automation.
- Review and document all workload activities per incident or change request to eliminate rework or support auditing and investigation.
- CCNP and CCIE certifications are desired.
- Knowledge of Software Defined Networking is desired.
