  • At least 12 years of experience in the field or a related area.
  • Extensive experience and judgment in the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures to independently plan and accomplish complicated tasks.
  • Ability to provide consultation on complex projects and function as a top-level contributor or specialist.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Support PMA-207 C-130 Integrated Product Team and the C-130 Lead Assistant Program Manager Logistics with logistics management for sustainment-related efforts.
  • Assess the supportability and maintainability of proposed systems and technology applications and recommend feasible designs and alternatives.
  • Develop support and maintenance concepts and maintainability requirements for assigned systems.
  • Review requirements for new support facilities and plan activation of system support sites.
  • Assess Engineering Change Proposals’ impacts to integrated logistics support and recommend approval or disapproval based on trade-off analyses.
  • Track Engineering Change Proposals from approval through final installation on each end item.
  • Participate in leadership, Integrated Product Team, and functional competency meetings for C/KC-130 logistics support capabilities.
  • Identify and support Item Unique Identification programs associated with C/KC-130 systems.
  • Evaluate, update, and maintain logistics planning documentation throughout the C/KC-130 systems lifecycle.
  • Manage procurement actions for resources needed to support C/KC-130 systems throughout their lifecycle.
  • Manage development of Engineering Change Proposals and Technical Directives supporting C/KC-130 modifications.
  • Prepare briefing documentation for C/KC-130 integrated logistics requirements planning, programming, and execution.
  • Develop affordable readiness initiatives to reduce C/KC-130 lifecycle costs.
  • Identify and manage C/KC-130 Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages challenges.
  • Use logistics tools to determine stock levels and track, receive, and monitor asset movement through shipping and transportation processes.
  • Support Central Kitting Authority activities and kitting processes, including procurement and provisioning for interim supply support through Material Support Date and fielding.
  • Support Field Support Team logistics support analysis reporting and development of logistics products for the fleet.
  • Provide acquisition support, including financial analyses of projected and actual spares procurement costs from initial outfitting through pre-Material Support Date transition.
  • Develop and maintain spares procurement schedules and quantities supporting approved weapon systems planning documents and concepts of operations.
  • Coordinate progress toward Propulsion and Power Material Support Date achievement for engines and propellers.
  • Provide technical analysis for Propulsion and Power Material Support Date planning, Baseline Assessment Model spares determination, lifecycle sustainment spares procurement, logistics requirements and funding summaries, and spend plans.
  • Coordinate sustainment efforts across C-130 functional areas and support readiness-cell reliability control board initiatives.
  • Manage Diminishing Manufacturing Sources and Material Shortages resolution efforts with U.S. Navy, U.S. Air Force, Integrated Product Teams, and original equipment manufacturers.
  • Support determination and resolution of support equipment deficits through procurement initiatives.
  • Review changes to sustainment planning documentation and procurement and readiness improvement initiatives, and assist the Government in selecting plans that achieve timely Material Support Date and spares provisioning.
