Overview of Position
- As Integration Strategy and Operations Director (DIR-ISO), you will play a critical role in leading and supporting the seamless integration of processes, procedures, policies, systems, and teams across the organization. This includes working with key HUB stakeholders and coordinating functional areas within HUB, and to have a personalized and tailored approach to each M&A deal since one size does not fit all.
- The successful candidate will possess exceptional management, planning and organizational skills, a strong business acumen, and understanding of the HUB operational ecosystem across the regions. In addition, the successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, problem solver, proactive in their approach, and possess superior technical and stakeholder management skills.

Roles and Responsibilities of RPW (DIR-ISO)
- Develop and manage the RPW integration station – centralized repository of all materials on a deal-by- deal basis.
- Manage the M&A resources section on the RPW Resource Center.
- Attend and engage on RPW operational due diligence meetings and identify potential issues, risks and business opportunities.
- Review and draft RPW due diligence reports and follow up on pre close action items assigned by the RPW COO or SVP-ISO.
- Manage the RPW pre close calls with new M&As and follow up on action item assigned by the SVP-ISO.
- Lead pre and post due diligence calls with the MAI BP/IDD team to collaborate on the current technology ecosystem and required planning post close including applications and budgets.
- Plan and attend the RPW M&A working group meetings and RPW MAI BP/IDD team huddles. Follow up on action items assigned by the SVP-ISO including working on key strategic initiatives and take ownership.
- Plan and attend all RPW and regional integration meetings and follow up on action items assigned by the SVP-ISO. Manage RPW integration meetings as assigned by the SVP-ISO.
- Responsible for coordinating schedules for the RPW team of experts to meet with new M&As as part of the integration process and track engagement. Follow up on specific action items including distribution of presentation materials and agreed upon next steps between new M&As and the RPW team of experts.
- Attend all MAI meetings including the business operations analysis (BOA) sessions conducted by the MAI team pre and post close with a focus on RPW specific applications, marketing and sales tools currently being utilized including CRM systems and email marketing platforms.
- Responsible for managing relationships with the regional Strategic Resource Managers (SRMs) to ensure that key action items are completed including co-branding set up, business cards, CORE access, training and data input of acquired firms, Google business listings, RPW template for HUB website, and regional resources, programs, distribution lists and sales events.
- Responsible for coordinating sales support activities with the RPW business development team. Inform the RPW business development team of any new opportunities that M&As require support on as discussed on weekly integration calls.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on the status and completion of all major integration objectives as part of the RPW first 100 days journey presented to new M&As. Develop strategies to ensure that the major integration objectives are achieved on time.
- Responsible for tracking and reporting on key performance indicators of measuring M&A integration success as communicated during the first 100 days journey to new M&As. Develop strategies to ensure that the major integration success factors are achieved.
- Review and periodically update all RPW M&A due diligence and integration management processes, procedures, checklists and playbooks. Work with the M&A team to keep the HUB OIL Share Point site up to date. Will also be responsible for maintaining all materials provided to new M&As throughout the integration process.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in integrations and operations to drive innovation and competitive advantage.
- Support the SVP-ISO in serving as air traffic controller, issues manager and resource broker for new M&As. This includes maintaining the issues tracking list on a deal-by-deal basis and updating various due diligence and integration status report and working group activity decks.
- Working closely with the MAI BP/IDD team to track the status until completion of vendors who must complete and/or execute HUB NDAs, TPRM process, master service agreements (MSAs), and transitional service agreements (TSAs). This will include attending meetings as required and follow up with appropriate stakeholders.
- Working closely with the MAI BP/IDD team throughout the process leading up to the tech integration / Go Live deployment.
- Working closely with the MAI BP/IDD team track the status until completion of post tech integration special projects and initiatives identified during tech integration planning process. This will include attending meetings as required and follow up with appropriate stakeholders.
- Working closely with the GRP and TCG teams when new firms are transitioning to new BDs/RIAs. Keep update on all transition related action items and timelines.
Required Background and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree or MBA (preferred) in business administration, operations management or a related field,
- Experience in the M&A process including due diligence and working on integration projects to successful completion.
- Management and operational experience working inside a retirement and private wealth management firm.
- 8-10 years management experience leading people, operations and projects to successful completion.
- Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering results and achieving operational excellence.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, fostering collaboration and partnership.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously.
- Strong technology understanding and ability to train and support new acquired team with HUB and RPW technology systems.
- Proven ability to develop processes, procedures, checklists, SOPs, guidelines and playbooks.
- Understanding of technical aspects and industry terminology for RPW business.
Expectations of This Position:
- Lead and support the successful integration of new acquisitions and achieve target business objectives as stated in RPW integration project plans.
- Maintain strong relationships within RPW, HUB corporate and HUB regions.
- Development and completion of defined project deliverables.
- Will be fully engaged and take the initiative of ownership of assignment and projects.
- Travel as required.
The expected pay range for this position is $120,000 to $150,000 and will be impacted by factors such as the successful candidate’s skills, experience, and work location, as well as the specific position’s business line, scope, and level.
