  • Experience at a company with established People fundamentals, ideally Series C or later.
  • Deep compensation expertise, including building and refreshing bands, running market benchmarking, leveling roles, and modeling the cost of compensation decisions.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills, strong quantitative and analytical skills, and the ability to build models and work with messy data.
  • Strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple workstreams, sequence them, and meet committed dates.
  • Fluency with human resources information systems, applicant tracking systems, and performance platforms, with experience implementing or meaningfully improving at least one.
  • Experience using Lattice, Greenhouse, and Notion.
  • Clear, direct written and verbal communication, including the ability to write concise recommendations for executive action.
  • A Bachelor's degree.
  • Residence in the New York City area or willingness to travel regularly to New York and Tampa Bay.
Responsibilities
  • Own the compensation philosophy, structure, and bands end to end, including annual market refreshes.
  • Ensure compensation philosophy is applied consistently across offers, promotions, adjustments, and new roles.
  • Conduct market research for corporate and clinical role banding decisions.
  • Benchmark clinical base compensation and total cash, and design bonus structures to maintain above-market total compensation.
  • Design, implement, and oversee metrics-based bonus programs, including payment metrics, payout calculations and timing, performance tracking, and communication.
  • Build and maintain compensation models for proposed changes, merit and adjustment cycles, offer scenarios, and total compensation views.
  • Develop compensation strategies that support business results and improve clinician retention.
  • Review offers and internal adjustments for defensibility, internal equity, and compliance with compensation bands.
  • Run the annual compensation cycle with the Chief People Officer and Finance, and support managers through delivery.
  • Own compensation documentation, including team- and role-specific designs, role-level one-pagers, and leveling guidance.
  • Own headcount planning from the annual plan through monthly maintenance and reforecasting.
  • Maintain the headcount model as the source of truth for approved, open, and forecasted roles, reconciling it with Finance and the applicant tracking system.
  • Automate ratio-based staffing triggers based on panel size, visit volume, and site count thresholds.
  • Run intake and approval for new and backfill role requests.
  • Build scenario-planning capabilities for evaluating growth pace, hiring, and cost implications.
  • Own company-wide people analytics and reporting, including metrics for the Leadership Team and Board.
  • Own dashboards for headcount and growth, hiring funnel and time to fill, turnover and retention, engagement, compensation distribution, and manager effectiveness, using Lattice, Greenhouse, and the human resources information system.
  • Evolve, optimize, and maintain recruiting dashboards in partnership with the Director of Talent.
  • Translate analysis into recommendations about actions the company should take.
  • Establish data definitions, data hygiene standards, and reporting cadence across data sources.
  • Own company-wide knowledge management and the structure and governance of Notion.
  • Set and drive adoption of documentation standards for creation, organization, naming, and maintenance.
  • Ensure employees can find current information without relying on another person.
  • Partner with Learning and Development on documentation and training.
  • Own high-value People projects that require senior operational leadership, including projects that would otherwise sit with the Chief People Officer.
  • Scope, plan, and drive strategic projects to completion with minimal direction, returning a recommendation.
  • Evaluate, select, and implement People technology as organizational needs grow.
  • Manage the People Operations & Credentialing Manager, setting standards for onboarding logistics, provisioning, and credentialing, and holding outcomes.
Desired Qualifications
  • Compensation experience spanning corporate and clinical or licensed roles, including familiarity with clinical benchmarking sources.
  • Experience building workforce planning models driven by operational ratios rather than static headcount lists.
  • Experience automating meaningful portions of manual processes through scripting, business intelligence tooling, or systems integration.
  • A blend of management consulting and in-house experience.
  • Experience in healthcare, multi-site organizations, or distributed frontline workforce environments.
  • Experience administering Lattice, including compensation, performance, and engagement modules.
  • Experience managing projects entrusted by a People leader.

Greenbrook Medical runs a network of primary care clinics in the Tampa Bay area that focus exclusively on people 65 and older. It provides long, appointment-based visits with a small number of patients per doctor to build strong doctor–patient relationships. Care is delivered through a dedicated team with 24/7 access, on-site labs, EKGs, circulation testing, joint injections, skin biopsies, plus help with referrals and transportation. They partner with Tampa General Hospital on the TGH Senior Center to extend senior-focused care. The company differentiates itself by limiting patient load per physician, offering same or next-day availability and minimal wait times, and by maintaining continuity of care with the same doctor at every visit. Their goal is to deliver patient-centered, comprehensive geriatric care and support for chronic conditions like diabetes, hypertension, arthritis, and heart disease, while expanding access through partnerships and Medicare Advantage relationships.

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Greenbrook’s website added UnitedHealthcare Medicare Advantage acceptance on June 9, 2026.
  • TGH opened Brandon and Spring Hill centers in September 2025, extending Greenbrook’s footprint.
  • Hiring for Winter 2026-27 expansion signals management expects growth into New Port Richey and Brooksville.

What critics are saying

  • Revenue depends heavily on Medicare Advantage contracts; UnitedHealthcare enrollment changes hit 2026 volumes.
  • Tampa General owns the senior-center brand; TGH can replace Greenbrook’s operating role.
  • A Florida Blue or Humana network shift would crush referrals and trigger clinic closures.

What makes Greenbrook Medical unique

  • Greenbrook has served Tampa Bay seniors since 1991, not a startup experiment.
  • TGH Senior Center, opened 2024 and expanded in 2025, deepens Greenbrook’s hospital alliance.
  • Limited patient panels, same-doctor continuity, and 24/7 access create sticky senior relationships.
