The HR Generalist will play a key role in supporting the human resources function across Canada, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations, and acting as a point of contact for employees and managers on HR-related issues. The successful candidate will be fluent in English and will be responsible for overseeing a range of HR activities, including employee onboarding, disability management and HR policy administration.
Responsibilities :
- Act as the first point of contact for HR-related queries through our ticketing system, providing guidance and support in both English and French.
- Administer onboarding and offboarding processes, ensuring a positive experience for new hires and departing employees.
- Handle employee relations issues, resolving conflicts and addressing concerns in a fair and timely manner.
- Assist with the development, implementation, and enforcement of HR policies and procedures.
- Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable labour laws and company policies.
- Collaborate with managers and insurance companies to provide support of employees on leave.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in an HR Generalist or related role.
- Fluency in both English and French (spoken and written) is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations in Canada.
- Proven experience in employee relations, disability management and HR policy administration.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with employees at all levels.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
