Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is required; two additional years of relevant hospitality operations experience may substitute for the education requirement.
  • Seven years of progressive, hands-on experience in hotel operations within an equivalent-sized, high-volume property is required.
  • Five years of experience in a hotel department manager role with full accountability for departmental workflows, budgets, and team members is required.
  • Experience managing more than one distinct hotel operational function is highly preferred.
  • Experience in an integrated casino-resort environment is preferred.
  • The ability to analyze interdependent property workflows across 24/7 operating departments is required.
  • The ability to forecast business volumes, trends, and event calendars for staffing, logistics, and equipment planning is required.
  • The ability to translate Four-Diamond service standards into frontline expectations and perform advanced guest service recovery is required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • The ability to mentor managers and guide complex team member relations situations is required.

Responsibilities
  • Direct, support, and oversee the daily operations of the Front Desk, Front Services, Guest Services, Housekeeping and Laundry, and property-wide Environmental Services teams.
  • Guide reporting managers and supervisors in executing company people processes across hiring, onboarding, coaching, performance reviews, labor management, policy enforcement, and off-boarding.
  • Analyze business volumes, forecast trends, and review event calendars to align staffing, logistical plans, and equipment for peak periods.
  • Partner with Sales, Food and Beverage, Marketing, and Casino teams to coordinate hotel workflows with property events, group blocks, promotions, and VIP guest requirements.
  • Monitor and manage daily property workflows affected by room inventory shifts, floor access changes, and maintenance projects.
  • Coordinate with Facilities on room maintenance, laundry projects, floor closures, construction, alarms, window washing, and other guest-impact initiatives.
  • Direct the resolution of complex guest challenges, complaints, and service failures.
  • Oversee divisional budgeting, line-item expenses, cost containment, financial report analysis, revenue forecasting, and room rate analysis.
  • Develop, oversee, and maintain departmental policies, Standard Operating Procedures, and internal controls.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable federal, gaming, and workplace safety regulations.
  • Provide operational coverage during manager absences, peak periods, and after-hours incidents.
  • Serve as the hotel division's primary contact in the Director of Hotel Operations' absence and support Sales and Spa and Wellness teams.
  • Coordinate communication and resolution for property system outages and Online Travel Agency connectivity issues.
  • Participate in hotel-wide projects and initiatives and support evolving property business goals.
