- Five or more years of Cisco networking experience with working knowledge of Cisco networking including Nexus Platform and routers, and Cisco LAN and WAN technologies.
- Must know Citrix Xen and VMware networking components.
- Shift flexibility to work off hours and between shifts to accomplish tasks.
- High level network engineering experience in a complex, highly segmented, secure network environment with the ability to troubleshoot complex networks and security infrastructure.
- Ability to work with vendors to manage external connections.
- Working knowledge of HP Blade and HP Virtual Connect technologies.
- Ability to create comprehensive documentation for new deployments and changes to existing systems.
- Solid working experience and understanding of Windows Active Directory, Windows Domain Name System, VMware, Citrix Xen Virtualization, Check Point firewalls, HP Storage Area Network storage, and Blue Coat web filtering.
- Willingness to travel occasionally between New York, Parsippany, and Philadelphia as needed.
- Must closely adhere to Change Management and Security policies and procedures.
- Assist with planning, analysis, implementation, and troubleshooting during migrations of applications to a new colocation data center.
- Collaborate with Infrastructure resources, Application subject matter experts, and Security Engineers to prepare and migrate applications and external and private connections to the bank’s applications.
- Cisco Certified Network Professional certification is a plus
